Eyes watering, struggling to breathe, Abd al-Mouin, 22, dragged his nephews from a house reeking of noxious fumes, then briefly blacked out. Even fresh air, he recalled, was burning my lungs.
The chaos unfolded in the Syrian town of Sarmeen one night this spring as walkie-talkies warned of helicopters flying from a nearby army base, a signal for residents to take cover. Soon, residents said, there were sounds of aircraft, a smell of bleach and gasping victims streaming to a clinic.

It was never proved that it was the Syrian g0vt that used chemical weapons the first time.
I think the Slimes are just using old talking points memos. Haven’t they heard that now Obumbles wants Assad to win?
The last time anyone said chem weapons were used, it was the “rebels” using them.
And it was chlorine if memory serves.
Stay out of it for once. Prepare for the War Against ISIS on our homeland.
Giving the west more excuse to intrude, overthrow Assad, and put IS in place.
Assad is flawed. His enemies are demonic.
Good catch. I'd forgotten about that.
YES!! and possibly our own government :(
Is it using them against ISIS?
Hmmm. Wait. Let me think a minute.
I see where this is going.
Obama wants to send us a couple of million muzzie refuges.
Cockroaches
“Plus I thought Russia made that deal and Syria got rid of ail its chems”
Whether that’s meant to be satirical or not....apparently (and I am just reiterating the reports) the Syrians are using chlorine, an ordinary and ubiquitous (though fearsomely deadly and instantly debilitating) industrial chemical used in dozens of applications and easy to manufacture. Probably, it is technically not considered a WMD but is unquestionably usable for same, as it was in WW1.
I wasn’t sure if it was sarcasms or not myself, to tell the truth. So, I other words, there is a cheap, easy to make chemical weapon out there that isn’t so easy to just dismantle?
Well, we’re using pot, meth, speed, ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, oxy, etc. against our own citizens ....
War on drugs or war with drugs?
“So it falls under a kind of loophole. With many civilian uses, like purifying water or disinfecting hospitals, it is not banned under international law and thus was not on the list of chemicals that Mr. Assad promised to destroy though using chlorine as a weapon is forbidden.”
There is no weapon to terrible to prevent the rape and murder of your women. Gas those roaches.
Seems like 60 Minutes did a report a few weeks ago on this subject, had horrific video too— children and adults struggling to breathe, writing on the floor, and many dead bodies.
Whoever is doing the killing needs to be stopped. Reminds me of Hitler. Watch the video if you can deal with graphic; it’s probably on CBS website or youtube by now.
