And if they did, as horrible as it is, what do we do? Support ISIS in the takeover of Assad?
Some horrifying things happen that little can be done about.
Or we would need 2 million troops spread across many African countries.

Whether that’s meant to be satirical or not....apparently (and I am just reiterating the reports) the Syrians are using chlorine, an ordinary and ubiquitous (though fearsomely deadly and instantly debilitating) industrial chemical used in dozens of applications and easy to manufacture. Probably, it is technically not considered a WMD but is unquestionably usable for same, as it was in WW1.
