“Plus I thought Russia made that deal and Syria got rid of ail its chems”
Whether that’s meant to be satirical or not....apparently (and I am just reiterating the reports) the Syrians are using chlorine, an ordinary and ubiquitous (though fearsomely deadly and instantly debilitating) industrial chemical used in dozens of applications and easy to manufacture. Probably, it is technically not considered a WMD but is unquestionably usable for same, as it was in WW1.
I wasn’t sure if it was sarcasms or not myself, to tell the truth. So, I other words, there is a cheap, easy to make chemical weapon out there that isn’t so easy to just dismantle?
