* Arkansas evangelical politician played hardball with early jabs at primary competitors
* Hit Cruz for signing up for Obamacare, Paul for trying to run for Senate and President at the same time, and Bush for being part of a political 'dynasty'
* Tech glitches plagued Huckabee's rollout, including a campaign website that flickered and failed and C-SPAN audio that went haywire
* Slogans include 'Hope to Higher Ground' and the Eisenhower-throwback line 'I Like Mike'
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee threw the first punches on Tuesday against other Republican presidential candidates, ending a brief spring of comity among conservatives who all want the chance to oppose Hillary Clinton in the 2016 general election.
Huckabee, an ordained Baptist minister, elbowed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush without naming them and threw in a shot at Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton for good measure.
Less than 90 minutes after Cruz issued a welcoming message of respect, 'Huck' lashed out at him for a plan to put his family on Affordable Care Act-sanctioned medical insurance after years of railing against the Obamacare plan.
'Instead of helping families find affordable health care, we created a monster that forces us to buy coverage we don't want, don't need, and can't afford,' Huckabee told a crowd gathered in his hometown of Hope, Arkansas. 'And imagine members of Congress boasting they will fight to repeal Obamacare and then turning around and signing up for it!'

Huckawho? ;)
LOL! That should be his name around here. :)
I had a freeper tell me yesterday that Huckabee’s Christain faith guided him in the pardoning and release of two convicted rapists and murderers who then went on to rape and kill more innocent people.
Now I guess it’s Huckabee’s Christian faith that is guiding him to take pot shots at other candidates. Cruz has been very gracious to everyone who has entered the race. All Huckabee could come up with was that he had signed up for Obamacare. How Lame!
Maybe President Huckaphony’s Christian faith will guide him to listen to his ideological soul mate John McCain and invade another country every six weeks.
I like tax reform and abolishing the IRS.
I like deregulating businesses.
I like the promise of secure borders and the enforcemnetof immigration laws.
I like someone who has won cases before the Supreme Court that protect our right to keep and bear arms.
I like someone who has won cases before the Supreme Court that protect our religious freedoms.
I like someone who stood, even when he was the only one, against Obamacare and who has pledged to repeal it.
I like someone who is humble enough to bow their head and ask our Creator to give him wisdom in leading this country.
These are a few of the reasons I’m supporting Ted Cruz.
I thought it was a brilliant move for Cruz to sign up for Obamacare for just the reasons you gave. I laughed out loud when i heard him say that he was going to do that!! He is not putting himself above the American people who have to deal with this nightmare.
Los Rinos—good job, Mikey!
