Russia's Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov has appealed to the Culture Ministry to establish a "full-fledged" museum honoring Soviet dictator Josef Stalin, a news report said.
Zyuganov, the head of Communist Party and its parliamentary faction, asked Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky for help in overcoming objections by a "liberal public" to create a museum in honor of Stalin, the Izvestia daily reported Friday, citing a copy of the letter.

So, their liberals DON’T like Stalin? Maybe they should build an Obama museum instead/s;)
So will the museum have exhibits showing how Stalin systematically starved millions of Ukrainians?
Will it have exhibits showing how Stalin sent millions to starve in work camps, how hundreds of thousands were taken from their homes never to returns because someone denounced them as counter revolutionaries?
Will the museum tell how Stalins prewar purges, designed to eliminate any possible rival to Stalin, robbed the Russian Army of its officer corps of its leadership just in time for the German invasion?
How does one properly HONOR a mass murdering sociopath?
That ought to make some of Putin’s fans happy.
Will they show all the brave Russians who fought for Russia in WWII, were captured, mistreated by the Nazis, returned to Russian, and killed off in the Gulag.
yeah, really. What can you show in a Stalin museum except dead guys. Maybe 20 million.
That’s going to take up a lot of space!!
and then you nee the paranoid schizophrenic Area. That should be nice.
You nee the spies and traitors he had who stabbed us in the back on the Manhattan project. That could be another wing.
It could be like a theme park!!!
“It could be like a theme park!!!’
background music: “Wake the Town and Shoot the People”.
They could have a special area for rubes that think Stalin was cool and his imitator, Putin, deserves to restore the soviet empire he misses. They could pay homage to tyranny and say what a swell Christian Putin is and how at least he’s not Obama.
“Liberal” means a different thing outside of the USA. In Europe it has traditionally meant those who favor less taxes and less goverment in citizen’s lives. By now it is already getting mixed with the US meaning though.
One thing for sure, it won’t be in Ukraine.
Amazing photos of the Democrat National Committee meeting on May 1st...my only question...where is Wasserman-Schultz?
"'The Black Book of Communism,'; a scholarly accounting of communisms crimes, counts about 94 million murdered by the supposed champions of the common man (20 million for the Soviets alone), and some say that number is too low."

“How does one properly HONOR a mass murdering sociopath?”
Take a page from margaret sanger worshipping liberals.
Stalin was a great man. A greatly evil man. As were his competitors in the dictator races of the 20th.
He accomplished great things, at immense and unnecessary cost in human suffering. As, again, did others.
I have no problem with a museum about his life and times, as long as it present a balanced picture of his accomplishments and his crimes.
Which of course it wouldn’t. Any such museum would focus on lauding achievements and covering up or excusing the crimes.
In 2008, the DNC had large red stars prominently displayed at their convention center. I'm sure it was meant to send a message. After all, look who their candidate was: Comrade Barack "Fundamental Transformation of America" Obama.
I was an idiot for a few months. Putin was the West’s savior!!! put gays in their place. He courted the church. Espoused marrying and having babies.
But then he killed enemies, threatened the US with constant infraction into our airspace. started talking about nukes as a viable option and on and on.
I learned my lesson.
lol
