Moments ago according to the native Twitter feed of al-Arabiya (which is owned by the Saudis), Iranian forces have seized a US cargo ship, which has some 34 American sailors, which they have taken to the port of Bandar Abbas.

If it’s Marshall Islands, it is equivalent to an American ship. We are in a compact of free association with Micronesia, they have rights to come to U.S., get free health care and welfare, etc. I assume we also have a military duty to defend them.

Most of Micronesia/Marshall Islands residents are now living in Hawaii because they get tons of mandated free federal benes, which the feds never reimburse Hawaii for even though they are legally obligated to.
