".....In a recent Washington Examiner interview, Cruz promoted legal immigration and criticized Walker for suggesting that he supported limiting legal immigration if it has a negative impact on the wages of American workers.
"When we talk about what should be the policy on legal immigration, it should be driven by the economic impact. And number one on the list of priorities should be: What is the impact on American workers and American wages?" Walker said.
"If unemployment is high and labor participation is low, why would we want to open the door and flood the market with more workers at a time when our own people here are looking for work?"
Walker said that we are a country of immigrants, but we are also a country of laws. He asserted that we should be looking out for the American worker in everything we do.
"From immigration to tax policy to welfare reform and everything, Im going to stand with the American worker."

Listen up, Reagan Democrats.
Walker’s getting some very good advice about what the US worker needs to hear.
But will he flip back after elected? We don’t risk that nearly as much with Ted Cruz, now do we?
Ted needs to come around on this.
Welcoming illegal aliens with teddy bears with Glenn Beck was not reassuring!
Ted Cruz, who didn’t even turn up for the vote on Loretta Lynch?
So you know absolutely nothing about how congress works? Congratulations!
One thing I’d really like to know is, why did he not notice the group calling itself Voces de la Frontera, Voices of the Frontier (of Mexico) operating in WI, very far from the real frontier of Mexico, since 2002?
One would think that when your state has been colonized to the point of having foreign groups who think the frontier of Mexico extends to WI that one would notice before now.
I’m encouraged that he’s woken up, but my eyes have been open to the disaster of unchecked illegal immigration for years, where has he been?
” Ted Cruz, who didnt even turn up for the vote on Loretta Lynch?”
LOL....must be hard being stupid : )
Ted Cruz, who didnt even turn up for the vote on Loretta Lynch?
************
True the way the Senate counts votes it is the same as a no vote even though the
vote wasn’t cast. In other words the object is to get to a specified number and
a not a percent of the votes cast.
When someone looks up Sen. Cruz’s vote on AG Loretta Lynch’s confirmation, what will they find?
You’ve never heard of “cloture” or you’re just being willfully argumentative in support of Gov. Kohl’s Coupon?
That he was not among the traitorous ten republicans who voted to confirm her.
They’ll find he voted against moving her nomination forward only to be stymied by the GOP leadership and the rest of the Democrats in R jersey who voted with the Democrats to confirm a nominee who testifed that federal laws are meaningless. There was no need to be there for the final vote as they had their traitors lined up
Alexander
Burr
Capito
Corker
Cornyn
Gardner
Hatch
Roberts
Rounds
Thune
Tillis
Cochran
Ayotte
Graham
Above the line voted for cloture, below voted for confirmation, except Hatch who voted for both
They are all Democrats in R jerseys and should be removed from office. They advance the lefts agenda under the guise of being Republicans.
So you know absolutely nothing about how congress works? Congratulations! I for one would like for livious to explain how Cruz vote would have made one ioda of difference in the predetermined outcome of said vote.
It's important that someone has. All of them, even our beloved Cruz, leave themselves a lot of ways to get around stopping and reversing the invasion of the US.
If Walker sticks to this message, and strong support for it cuts across the political spectrum, that's all good. Has he really come around on the issue? Who knows? What I'm saying is the support he gets for this pro-US worker stance might make it real.
I hope you are right.
I know what cloture is.
Why are you being insulting?
Would you please answer my question.
