During her tenure as secretary of state for the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton used a private email account on a private server in her possession instead of using a government-provided account on a secure government server.
In the aftermath of this revelation, Hillary deleted thousands of emails from her private server instead of turning them over to the State Department, despite ongoing congressional inquiries and Freedom of Information Act requests for the documents.
Chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi Trey Gowdy has been at the forefront of the efforts to obtain Hillarys emails as he continues his quest to uncover everything that happened before, during and after the tragic 2012 terror attack on the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.
Although Hillary has somehow avoided answering any of the many questions Gowdys committee has for her, her attorney astonishingly claimed in a letter to the committee that all of its questions had already been answered.

At least Trey isn’t “telegraphing his punches” like the Nuns I had in high school.
If you could view the other end of that Gowdy dog you’d see that he’s been neutered, just like his namesake in congress.
Fyi
Personally I have to wonder about the intelligence of anyone who really expected anything out of a congressional investigation. I’m 50 years old and haven’t seen it yet.
After all, half of the “investigators” are there to obfuscate and save their candidate. Gowdy is better than most but simply isn’t going to overcome the inherent flaw of a congressional investigation.
Ahhhhhh.....
The Free Republic Complain About Trey Gowdy Crowd is out in force today.
Gowdy is a Congressman. His sole job is not running Hillary to ground.
He was a Prosecutor. He was not a paid assassin. He will do things in a legal manner. If you want someone to beat the crap out of Hillary, then contact Harry Reid.
Gowdy is keeping this inquiry going. It looks to me like he is really making Hillary sweat.
Monkeys make a lot of noise. The lion is quietly efficient when stalking the gazelle.
I suggest you read the Gowdy letter.
I see nothing in the article that supports the “take Hillary down” part of the headline. I don’t think Gowdy’s committee will produce anything substantive and I sincerely hope they prove me wrong.
LOL. You noticed!!!
Let them rant. Gowdy is operating within the constraints of his position and mission and the maneuvering of Hitlery and her lawyer. I have faith in Gowdy. He is absolutely the best choice for heading this investigation. I'm no Boehner fan but he did, after all, pick the right guy.
To those who choose to rant and post rather than read I would suggest that they calm down, be patient and at the minimum read the last paragraph of the Gowdy letter and try as hard as possible to understand his strategy. It's a good one. Here it is:
Unless we hear differently from you, the Committee will schedule a public hearing with Secretary Clinton in which to discuss ensuring the public record is complete the week of May 18, 2015, and we look forward to coordinating a day that week convenient for Secretary Clinton, If that hearing results in assurances the public record is indeed complete, the Committee will schedule Secretary Clintons public hearing with respect to the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi no later than June 18, 2015.
That May 2015 deadline is on Trey Gowdy, not Hillary Clinton.
I predict that on May 18th Hillary will say, “F*** off, Republicans, I’ve got a campaign to run!”
On June 18th she will say, “Come and get me, coppers! No one’s gotten me yet!”
Pardon my pessimism but it goes back at least to 1992.
You just know Hillary intends to use the national platform Gowdy's giving her to morph into a "hapless victim of evil Republicans."
She desperately needs to resurrect her image. Hillary knows from experience that assuming the "victim posture" will get her votes.....not to mention, she probably already has the campaign fund-raising letter written as we type.
================================================
We don't need a congressional committee.
The better avenue of approach is OMB---Office of Management and Budget. OMB handles all the financials that involves taxpayers subsidizing ex-presidents once they leave office.
Health insurance, pensions, security detail......furnishing and paying their office expenses....including phone bills, cell records, wire transfers, ISP service connections, etc.
The OMB also manages other agencies' financials, paperwork, and IT.
Officially, OMB oversees and coordinates procurement, financial management, information, and regulatory policies.....to help improve administrative management, to develop better performance measures and coordinating mechanisms, and to reduce any unnecessary burdens on the taxpayers.
==============================================
OMB needs to release Clinton's OMB documents to the tax-paying public. We need to know specifically, the number and type of electronic devices in possession of the Clintons that OMB is paying for......where they're at....and what it's costing taxpayers.
ASK YOUR CONGRESSMAN FOR CLINTON'S OMB INFORMATION.
Dana was a guest on Kelly Files last night. She said she expected within a week that Hilkary will assume victim role. “It was all Bills fault He has no self control blah blah blah...”
Yawn. Does Gowdy mean kitten?
Ross Perot deserves utter scorn.
They say a good prosecutor never asks a question he doesn't already know the answer to.
Outstanding—I alway show my opponents my cards before I start bidding.
Gowdy is just another ball-less GOP hack.
unless, the statement is a feint allowing a devastating assault from the rear flank
I took the opportunity to do as requested and still, please, pretty please, pretty please with a cherry on top. Then the week of May 18th will not be, as in all his other public hearings on the Committee’s charge, let’s ask the question if she/they have complied with the request that ALL the requested information has been disseminated and provided to the Committee. Then, they will decide when to call her in for a subsequent hearing later in June.
With all due respect, if I had committed treason, do you think I would have received such a nicely worded letter asking me to tell them the truth? Even more, being provided with a list of over 100 “sample” questions that “might” be asked once the later hearing commences?
So, she gets one month to prepare to lie like she always does with impunity to simple say they now have everything after she admits they scrubbed the server? It will only take her a few seconds to simply repeat over and over again that she does not recall.
We’ve been there and done that too many fargin times to be surprised it is not coming. Although, her last indignant screeching episode sure seemed to take these “tough guys” under their benches, now didn’t it. Not one of them had the balls to call her on that crap the instant it happened. Not one!
Get real, We the People are at war with these politico maggot farmers and we are going to have to give the same deference to battle plans as did Patton to Rommel. Until we get a leader willing to do battle the real way instead of pussy footing around with nice letters, the public is quick to see there is no teeth there to concern themselves with and that Sir drives the apathy we are saddled with today.
Patton said it best, Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Until the “Opposition Party” starts to act like a winner, the apathetic only sees it as business as usual and will not get engaged.
Hes one of the jobs Americans wont do guys:
He says hes against the executive amnesty, but hes not for Congress withholding funding:

Heres one amnesty act Gowdy has openly supported:

Its no accident that he chairs Boehners immigration subcommittee.
Here he is advocating the legalization of 3 million illegals:
