(GENTLE HUG & CHASTE SMOOCH)
Hope all is well with you. Good to see you here at the Canteen.
(((((((((((Prof))))))))))))))
(GENTLE HUG & CHASTE SMOOCH RETURNED)
All is well thank you!
It is good to see you, too!
I know it is late, but just wanted to cruise in and say Hello.
And I hope you're well.
My favorite city for food is Charleston SC.
The quiz says Paris.
I DID enjoy it very much!
I had to work last weekend, and was pretty worn out from being ill earlier in the week, but am doing much better now, and thanks for you concern!

(HUGS)
Catch you this weekend if you're around.
Lost Angeles. There is every possible nationality there. I used to work in LA and we had some favorites.
A couple of them were Mexican joints in East Los Angeles.
Another was a hole in the wall middle eastern place up around Monterey Park.
LA area is home to many fast food and burger joints, which became big chains. On is In n Out Burger. Another recent one is The Habit. McDonalds started in SoCal, but their days are far behind. California is home to El Pollo Loco, which started in Mexico.
Bob’s Big Boy, Carl’s, Taco Bell, Marie Callender’s, El Torito and Denny’s started in LA’s suburbs.
Gooood stuff! ....and good to see you, LV! :)
Love El Pollo Loco.....and have eaten at Marie Callendars several times in the San Fran area! First time to eat at Carls was in Lompoc. My son was stationed at Vandenberg.
Indeed, CA has had some mighty successes. Too bad they have gotten so scummy for the past decade or two. :(
I’ve only passed through there, but I’ll bet the food there is excellent!
Good evening/morning, Ms B...((HUGS))...this is just up your alley. You, the food guru. d:o)
OK...back to homework.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, LUV W. Here's the result I got from taking this morning's quiz.
You Should Eat in NYC |
You can be content with a simple hot dog or 3AM pretzel. But when you go big, you can also appreciate the finest tasting menu in town. You are a person who loves to be in the middle of the action, and not just at restaurants. You love bustling scenes of every sort. You have a broad set of interests, and you thrive when you can visit a big city. You're never bored when there's so much going on outside your doorstep. |
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Luvy, for preparing
the Canteen for todays activities.
You Should Eat in Barcelona |
You emphasize quality over quantity when it comes to eating. You like the best ingredients, prepared properly... maybe with a bit of wine. You enjoy travel, but you don't like to wander aimlessly. You would rather stay in a place for a while and savor it. You are attracted to a slower pace of life, even if it's only something you get to experience when you're on vacation. |
I'm not sure about this one.
The selections weren't that great.
However, if I ever get a chance to visit Barcelona, I'll go.
Although, I prefer to stay in the USofA, as
there's so much I haven't seen, yet.
Gonna make my rounds while it's still quiet.
Please stay right where you are.
Keep the troops and their families entertained.
The Canteen is
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
Good morning EG ((HUGS))
It’s going ok. Sun is trying to get from behind the clouds, and weather is more springlike...we’ll be only in low 60s.
Howz it out your way?
Good morning Pro ((HUGS))
Hey, weather is more springlike on the right coast...well be only in low 60s. Not much happening here at work except getting ready for another cup of coffee.
How was your Tuesday?
mine?
mine?
now!
