Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a likely 2016 GOP presidential candidate, is marching forward with his bold new pro-American worker immigration policy. Hes not afraid to push for a legal immigration system that doesnt box out American workers with a massive influx of inexpensive foreign labor.
After first rolling out his new ideas on Glenn Becks radio program on Monday, Walker appeared on Fox News Megyn Kellys show to further elaborate on how he hopes to protect Americans economically from special interests pushing for a massive influx in cheap foreign labor from around the world.
When it comes to immigration, as a governor I dont have any direct role in thatbut having talked to border state governors and having talked to other people, seeing how screwed up immigration has become under this president, it was clear to me talking to them and listening on this issue, traveling to the border actually going there with the governor of Texas Gov. Abbott, seeing the problems there, yeah from my standpoint going forward we need to secure the border, we need to enforce the laws that we currently have with an e-verify system, Walker said.
Youre pretty much in line with the other Republican candidates on this, Kelly asked as a follow-up.
Well the one thing theyre not saying is we need to make sure as part of that any future legal immigration system that goes forward has to account for American citizens and the workers of this country and their wages to make sure that even with legal immigration in this country we respond to it in a way that doesnt take jobs away from hardworking Americans, Walker added, separating himself from the rest of the 2016 field.

Scott Walkers actions of passing MANY conservative laws including some against illegal immigrants show who he is a pro-American conservative. Actions, results mean everything. Words mean nothing
Here is just one example of walker taking ACTION against illegal immigrants:
Walkers 2011 Budget Eliminated A Program That Grants In-State College Tuition To Children Of Undocumented Immigrants.

To the extent I do not equate enforcement of immigration law with protection against invasion you are correct.
You may not even think milk is from a cow. That doesn’t change where cow milk comes from.
Thanks for your response.
Yeah but it is okay if Walker lets RICH Chinese immigrants come over under a Visa by a different name.
That way they can buy up America not build it, huh Erik. Turn it into another Red China with our own money.
It is not a matter of source but a matter of essence. Your desire for the immediate expulsion of all illegal immigrants is not explicitly iterated in Article IV, Section IV. You may think the law calls for their immediate expulsion, but that does not change the fact there are variety of legal processes and applications that may be brought to bear on any individual within our borders.
Is it your premise Scott allowing them to register and stay is a good way to prevent the states from being invaded?
Seems like that’s where you’re headed.
Scott has a problem.
He states his immigration policy has changed. Sadly, it hasnt.
What do you do if you want to protect the jobs of U. S. Citizens?
Dont you send back the people who are here illegally holding down jobs?
In 2006/07 Scott supported the McCain Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration reform bill. He confirm this in the linked video at the bottom of this post. McCain/Kennedy supported illegals paying a fine and staying in the U. S.
In 2013, Scott supported illegals aliens paying a fine and staying in the United States. Video of him saying so is in the video.
On 2015, March 1st, Scott was asked if he thought illegals who paid a fine should be able to stay in the U. S. He responded with, I believe a way can be found to do that.
Scotts policy has remained consistent from the 2006/07 time frame until at least March 1st, 2015. It hasnt changed.
Scotts claim in the video linked at the bottom of this post that he didnt believe in amnesty, and that his policy had changed is not true. Once an illegal is registered, they are legal U. S. residents. They dont have to fear extradition.
Immigration is discussed starting at 9:20 and the ...a way can be found... is located at 10:20
At 3:10 Scott discusses whether Obama loves the United States or not. In this discussion he agrees that anyone who seeks public office has to love this country, so Obama must love this county.
Do we have any Conservatives at all here who think Obama loves this country?

There is no law preventing people from other lands from setting foot on ours, and even settling. They simply do not, and should not, enjoy the rights that naturalized citizens have unless Congress decides to enact laws other than currently on the books as regards naturalization. Again, just because someone crosses our border and lives here does not make them ipso facto “illegal.” Such people will be subject to law enforcement as regards the general population, but they do not live under our Constitution, so an officer need not read them their rights, for example. Nor are they entitled to a jury trial as are we. In short they are not entitled to those things we enjoy by virtue of being naturalized citizens. Do you know what those privileges are?
You can either study the laws and learn about them, or continue to parrot the knee-jerk wishes of those who are all hyped up over the matter. But you will not find me disappointed with your tenacity and desire to see our way of life promoted, upheld, and defended.
That’s not true.
Get lost.
Many people with whom I associate seem to think that if a person crosses the United States border without special authorization and documentation they are subject to immediate arrest and expulsion; that they are, therefore, illegal and subject to immediate prosecution. Is that really what the laws of our land say? Think about it.
Our laws do not allow for foreign nationals to come here without documentation and stay. Upon discovery, these people are subject to deportation. I’ve watched the buses leaving detention centers to deliver the occupants back to the border.
This is true. Anyone within our borders who is not a naturalized citizen is subject to immediate deportation with or without cause. But we are not required by law to immediately deport any and every foreign national whom we discover. Big difference.
Do you have any clue how irrelevant this conversation is?
We have tens of millions of people out of work in this nation, and here you are trying to split hairs on whether we should deport the illegals, or even if we’re required to.
What a waste of time.
These people are bleeding our nation dry. They are taking jobs when citizens need work. They are contributing to massive swing in the demographics of our nation. They are loyal to a foreign power, not our nation.
This discussion is pointless. There’s a problem and it needs to be addressed.
I would encourage you not to think of everyone who crosses our border as intent on “bleeding us dry.” We don’t know that. Besides, there are many in our midst as naturalized citizens who are intent on the same thing and worse. Our conversation will not perhaps change public policy in the least, but it is certainly relevant. We’ve gotten more done in a couple hours than a typical media shouting entity accomplishes in five years. Please don’t think I have not a clue where you’re coming from. I tend not to be too alarmist about these things because I know where I came from, where I am going, and why. Carry on. I *greatly enjoy* your posts in this place.
Fester, I appreciate the kind comments.
Fester, I was married to a Hispanic woman for 18 years. I loved her very much. I love her parents, siblings, and extended family. Her grandmother died last year, and it made me very sad.
I still am in contact with her parents. I do things for them I don’t have to. I love them and wish them only the best in the future. Without me, things would be a little harder on them.
This is not about intent. It is about our nation, and do we wish it to continue.
I have posted this to others and I post to you possibly again.
30 million illegals bring 5 relatives over through chain immigration
150 million illegals bring 5 relatives over through chain immigration.
This is very simply stuff.
This is our future in ten years, if we don’t wake up and address this issue.
We have kicked the can down the road since the mid 1990s. It’s twenty years later now. Soon we will have 50 million illegals here. That’s even without the chain immigration.
This has to end.
We *might* be better served if we perceived this as an opportunity rather than a fearful burden. For example, the essence of being a US Citizen may now be laid out in simple form to millions who could be willing to defend the same. We have a captive audience to some degree, do we not? I’m not afraid of them, but I’m afraid they may never be taught to serve honorably in a free society.
One thing that *does* characterize our nation is a willingness to work through serious problems peaceably, and more serious problems with force. It is an extremely serious problem if 50 million people are suddenly granted the privilege of establishing public policy with intent to pilfer. No one within our borders who is not duly naturalized should be allowed to vote or hold public office.
We face uphill battles of all kinds, not the least of which is defining citizenship along with the processes and privileges that lead to a strong and prosperous people. There are elements of deconstructionism and chaos that ultimately must be met with force. They are within our borders, but they are not coterminous with the un-naturalized population.
You and I are probably of like age. If nothing else we can view these times with an eye toward the greater shifts in history we’ve witnessed. One thing we cannot afford is to be careless in receiving and passing along information. We’re too old for the herd instinct. Trust, but verify. I do not take any statistics or reports as completely true, let alone their various emotional derivatives.
I’ve received your admonition in regard to Article IV, Section 4, but remain in doubt as to whether this is applicable to people who simply cross our borders with the intent to live in a reasonably safe and secure society. I am under no illusion that there are exceptions and agitators. They just don’t characterize the USA.
Blessings to you and your extended family.
Fester, I appreciate your comments.
Over the years I’ve run into lots of people on this subject.
Over the years I’ve expressed my views and what I expressed years ago and predicted for the future has come to pass.
Tens of billions of dollars each year are now dedicated to these people because we won’t deport them.
Meanwhile our schools, our kids, our cities, or hospitals, all suffer for it.
We have more pressure on our government every four years, because these people are transitioning and voting in heavy numbers for the Left.
This cannot continue. These people are not our friends. They are here for their own benefit, and they have Mexican flags, not U. S. flags. There are massive demonstrations in our region, and the people that march in them carry Mexican flags. We’re talking tens of thousands of people and they aren’t assimilating one bit.
This is not something we can just laugh off any longer.
All the best to your family as well.
Take care.

First, the Japanese never bought up America in the 1980s, even though some thought they would.
Second, it is not our money. We borrowed it from them and we bought their products legally. You sound more like a liberal.
Allowing the Chinese to invest in your economy is not a bad thing. Unless you are xenophobic and afraid of a little competition. I do not fear the Chinese.
This nation beat the Japanese at their own game and did not have to implement central planning to do it....even though that is what the DNC wanted this nation to do.
The Chinese are investing all over the world. Let them.
