Fester, I appreciate the kind comments.

Fester, I was married to a Hispanic woman for 18 years. I loved her very much. I love her parents, siblings, and extended family. Her grandmother died last year, and it made me very sad.

I still am in contact with her parents. I do things for them I don’t have to. I love them and wish them only the best in the future. Without me, things would be a little harder on them.

This is not about intent. It is about our nation, and do we wish it to continue.

I have posted this to others and I post to you possibly again.

30 million illegals bring 5 relatives over through chain immigration

150 million illegals bring 5 relatives over through chain immigration.

This is very simply stuff.

This is our future in ten years, if we don’t wake up and address this issue.

We have kicked the can down the road since the mid 1990s. It’s twenty years later now. Soon we will have 50 million illegals here. That’s even without the chain immigration.

This has to end.

We *might* be better served if we perceived this as an opportunity rather than a fearful burden. For example, the essence of being a US Citizen may now be laid out in simple form to millions who could be willing to defend the same. We have a captive audience to some degree, do we not? I’m not afraid of them, but I’m afraid they may never be taught to serve honorably in a free society.

One thing that *does* characterize our nation is a willingness to work through serious problems peaceably, and more serious problems with force. It is an extremely serious problem if 50 million people are suddenly granted the privilege of establishing public policy with intent to pilfer. No one within our borders who is not duly naturalized should be allowed to vote or hold public office.

We face uphill battles of all kinds, not the least of which is defining citizenship along with the processes and privileges that lead to a strong and prosperous people. There are elements of deconstructionism and chaos that ultimately must be met with force. They are within our borders, but they are not coterminous with the un-naturalized population.

You and I are probably of like age. If nothing else we can view these times with an eye toward the greater shifts in history we’ve witnessed. One thing we cannot afford is to be careless in receiving and passing along information. We’re too old for the herd instinct. Trust, but verify. I do not take any statistics or reports as completely true, let alone their various emotional derivatives.

I’ve received your admonition in regard to Article IV, Section 4, but remain in doubt as to whether this is applicable to people who simply cross our borders with the intent to live in a reasonably safe and secure society. I am under no illusion that there are exceptions and agitators. They just don’t characterize the USA.

Blessings to you and your extended family.
