The Eagles have reached an agreement in principle with quarterback Tim Tebow, according to multiple media reports

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, who first reported the news, said that Tebow will be in Philadelphia Monday to sign the contract. Glazer also reported that the Eagles are convinced he has improved since the last time he was in the NFL after spending time with his quarterback coach Tom House.

Glad to see him playing again, too bad it is in a cesspool liberal city.

Why did the media and NFL elites do everything in their power to put Tebow out to pasture? Was it a concerted effort because he was an overt Christian? It seems that the benefactors of tax money for stadiums frown on Tebow type Christians except when they are handing over their hard earned tax dollars to make the recipients richer.

Because he’s a bad QB that is followed by a bunch of cultists that demand he be put in every time the starting QB throws an incomplete pass. I doubt he’ll still be an Eagle when the season starts, he just lacks the skills.

Good thing you are a better judge of QB talent than Chip Kelly.
He will get a real chance under a coach who runs his system.

Most cities, NFL or otherwise, are overwhelmingly leftist cesspools.

I’m glad Tebow has a gig. Chip Kelly seems like a real good fit for his skills.

True. From a pure technical standpoint, we was a bad quarterback.

That said, he took his teams to national championships in college and the playoffs in the NFL being a bad quarterback. If he reinvents himself to more of an NFL style quarterback, just think what he could do. ;-)

Sanchez and Tebow back together?

Tebow would make a pretty good runner in Chip Kelly’s offense.

Sanchez doesn’t fit it all that well so he could be trade bait. Or get cut.

He’s been on 3 teams with 4 different coaches including the guy who is probably the greatest coach on the planet today. None of them started him. And Chip put him 4th on the depth chart, in the season there IS NO 4th on the depth chart for QB. That’s practice squad at best. He’s gotten real chances, and completed less that 50% of his passes and they got rid of him every time.

I’m not a big NFL fan, but I never could figure out if he was so bad how did he Qb a team into the playoffs?

Well he limped to an 8-8 season in the NFL losing his last 3, which won that division so they got to the playoffs. He’s no where near the first great college QB to stink it up in the NFL, and he won’t be the last. He will probably go down as the only one with a massive cult following that just can’t internalize the fact that he is simply not an NFL caliber QB.

They just re-signed Sanchez. Big dead money hit if they cut him. Not happening.

Matt Barkley is the odd man out.

Be on a mediocre team in a terrible division. Same way Cam Newton got to the playoffs this year.
