In the President’s weekly Saturday morning address, he declared that he’s headed to the Florida Everglades Wednesday — Earth Day — to “talk about the way that climate change threatens our economy.”
“The Everglades is one of the most special places in our country,” the president said. “But it’s also one of the most fragile. Rising sea levels are putting a national treasure — and an economic engine for the South Florida tourism industry — at risk.”
“Climate change can no longer be denied — or ignored,” said Obama.

A lot of rain falls on California -- and most of it flows directly into the sea, compounding this sea level problem, and directly threatening Florida.
Here's what they should do in California: build a lot of dams. Capture that water. Use it to counteract their drought. And save the Everglades.

Who is denying that the climate changes? If it wasn't for climate change, there'd be no Great Lakes, no Niagara Falls, no Yosemite Sam National Park, no GLACIER National Park.
All these natural wonders were carved out by advancing and retreating glaciers.
Mr. Obola, why do you hate Niagara Falls? What did Yosemite Sam National Park ever do to you? Would you prefer the Great Lakes remain a mountain of ice?

I live at the other end of the state, I might drive up to GA. for the day just so I don’t have to be in the same state.
I don’t think that they are his kids. I also do not think that Michelle is a woman. I would need to see to results of a DNA test before I changed my mind.
And don’t forget The Beast. Even though it is diesel, with all that armor and the gearing they use to accelerate quickly, it probably gets the fuel economy of my F250 while towing our travel trailer.

Remember the trip he took a couple years back to Asia? He stopped in Seattle to do a photo op with people whose homes had been crushed in a landslide.
I did some cursory research on the amount of fuel used for his prima donna act. I discovered it will take me FIVE YEARS to burn the same amount of fuel in my car that he burned (on my dollar) in about a week.
EVERY politician who wants to lecture me on the need for more regulation over the environment can shove it.
I hope Scott stands firm - unlike the embarrassing performance that Brewer provided.
