Was Ted Cruz a disciple of Frank Marshal Davis too?

I like Governor Perry, but I think his presidential ship has sailed.

... to move past “eight years of this years of this young, very attractive, amazing orator, junior U.S. senator.”

Was he taking shots at Obama? Or Cruz?

Better than the sellout experience of the full-term governors. All of them.

Yeah, I wonder how the good governors little legal problem is coming along.

I’m tired of hearing the lack of executive experience argument. It doesn’t apply to Cruz in any event, but the problem with Obama is his ideology. No amount of experience was going to prevent him from trying to destroy this country.

I will support either Cruz or Perry. I like them both. Cruz is farther to the right, but Perry has 12 years of chief executive experience.

Perry Swipes at Potential GOP Rivals: We Tried ‘Young, Inexperienced Senator’ Already

Yes, but that one was a commie, a liar, and a doofus. I'm sure it's just because Ebola was a young first-term senator that he crashed and burned as POTUS, and not any of that other stuff. [eyeroll]

Perry, Grahamnesty, Rubio, etc. are being paid to run by The Cheap Labor Express to split up the votes of conservatives to make sure we do not nominate Ted Cruz.

The RNC has already been paid to produce an amnesty candidate. The cheap labor importers do not want us to elect anyone who will stop the invasion/cheap labor importation.

First, I’m not a Perry backer, but the article (what little it is) doesn’t seem so abrasive as the title might seem to indicate. “News” organ mining for hits its seems.

Second, all of our candidates need to realize that they don’t need to needlessly offend other candidates and, by extension, their supporters. That doesn’t mean that the substance of the positions of other candidates shouldn’t be attacked, but each of our guys need to keep it classy. Cruz has done well thus far with his remarks about Paul and Rubio. Paul didn’t do quite so well. Tasteless remarks cost votes.

Third, it wouldn’t hurt for those of us on FR to keep point number two in mind at times as well. We don’t want the support for “our” guy to needlessly cost him relatively easy votes from potential allies.

I would suspect that those young, inexperienced could remember all 3 governmental departments they would want to close.

Ted Cruz has WORK experience. That's what I'm looking for.

Anyone know how many governors were good presidents? Ronald Reagan, I know. But who else?

Jimmy Carter was a governor. Didn't help him at all. Worst president in my lifetime till Obama

His comment on the face of it is childish.

Does he actually think Ted Cruz is made of the same stuff Obama is?

I agree with you.

Perry made the case for a Republican president (not necessarily him) who’s more than just a “critic-in-chief,” but also a “tested, results-oriented executive who has a record of accomplishment.”

I agree with Governor Perry on this which is why I'll be supporting Governor Walker.
