Hillary Clinton joins the race for president today. If you believe the leaks from her staff, and theres no reason you shouldnt, shell do it in a video released at noon as she herself flies high above the nation in a chartered plane. She and her top advisors, all smart people, must think its a good idea. It doesnt feel like one. SNIP
Barring a Jeremiah Wright-level crisis, a presidential candidate gets just two or three chances to make her case to a big audience. Her announcement is often her best shot. That Hillary passed on hers is unsettling. If she thinks she doesnt have to make her case real soon shes wrong. If she thinks she can get by on the sort of mush Democratic consultants push on clients shes finished. On Thursday the Q poll released three surveys. In two states, she now trails Rand Paul. In all three a plurality or majority said she is not honest or trustworthy. You can bet the leak about her $2.5 billion campaign will push those negatives up a notch.
Clinton seems as disconnected from the public mood now as she did in 2008. I think its a crisis. If she doesnt right the ship it will be a disaster. In politics its always later than you think. Advisors who told her voters would forget the email scandals probably say this too will pass. If so, she should fire them.
Clinton needs a real challenge and a real debate, not just a sparring partner; not some palooka to dance her around the ring for a couple of rounds, but a real fighter. She needs the debate. We all do. But who will bring it?

That comparison is a horridly unfair to Nixon.
The Hildebeest’s likely savior is is the abysmally ignorant, shallow, undiscerning, and dependent American electorate.
Yeah, it really is hard to forget the unknown junior Senator whose lifetime claim to fame was community organizing, who came out of nowhere and knocked her right out of the race.. and I would say he did that quite easily. Clinton has way too many years (mostly negative) in the body politic.
Be kinda cool if she flew over throwing turkeys out the door.
Yes, and it’s hard for me to understand why the democrat party doesn’t want to promote a more decent person than Hitlery.
Nah, those people have no chance gaining acceptance from the left. They are big rich guys.
ole crusty britches is one woman’s champion.
How many did she do her best to ruin after bill used his bentness on them?
Sometimes girls nearly as young as Web and Hillary’s daughter.
Now that’s what I’m talking about!
More like, the so-called “friends” of ours that helped take care of Benghazi were rabid and followed their instincts to take care of our embassy later. If someone raped a bad guy to death, I wouldn’t trust them or want to be anywhere close to their company. I would not be surprised if it was some of the same guys who killed Gadaffi coming back to bite us from behind.
it would appear that this country is now up for sale. The Hill is talking about raising billions for her run and the so-called political experts are saying that this is the way she will win. I guess that it really is about the money and not the country that is important. Sad to hear.
Ask Jimmy Carville what he thinks, he might have something to add about the Clinton family.
She wants the money left over after losing
They are terrified the female voter will simply tune out if Hillary is not the nominee, It's "their turn." The DNC really has no choice but to stick with Hillary - she's the only candidate palatable to all of their hate-filled factions.
Memories.
You have no clue. Hillary is guaranteed the Presidency. It does not matter how she runs. She is the chosen one of the Global Oligarchs. So yeah, next year about this time, you will trot out Michael Moore who will state, she could lose. Just like he did for Obama. You really do not understand the situation. We have no choice. Never did. McCain made sure Obama won twice.
Interesting comments at Salon. Nothing positive about Hillary at all, just that Republicans are eeeeeevillllll.
