President Obama has tried really hard to stay out of the 2016 race for his job, except when it comes to one person: Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker.
First, Obama ripped Walker last month for signing into law a right-to-work bill. Then, in an interview with NPR published Tuesday, the president said Walker needed to "bone up on foreign policy" after suggesting he would undo any nuclear pact with Iran were he to win control of the White House.
Yet, the White House insists that Obama isn't going out of his way to rip Walker.
"It's nothing personal," White House press secretary Josh Earnest said, when asked if Obama had anything against Walker.
Walker has become Public Enemy Number One to organized labor. In 2012, after a showdown between Walker and the Badger State's government employee unions, labor organizers from all over the United States launched a a recall campaign against him which failed spectacularly, as the people of Wisconsin re-elected Walker with a higher percentage and a higher vote total than he had won in his original 2010 election.
Lately, Walker has attempted to showcase his foreign policy chops, apparently drawing the ire of the White House.
"It would be a foolish approach to take," Obama told NPR, "and perhaps Mr. Walker after he's taken some time to bone up on foreign policy will feel the same way."
For his part, Walker eagerly welcomed the debate with Obama.
"President Obama's failed leadership has put him at odds with many across the country, including members of his own party, and key allies around the world," the Wisconsin governor said Tuesday. "Americans would be better served by a president who spent more time working with governors and members of Congress rather than attacking them. Whether it is cutting a bad deal with Iran, calling ISIS the JV squad, or touting Yemen as a success story, Obama's lack of leadership has hurt America's safety and standing in the world."
Obama’s just itching to start campaigning again. It’s the only thing he knows how to do.
This indicates that Walker, right now, is seen by Democrats as their biggest threat in 2016.
Eat with your left hand Obummer!
And....Obama knows something about foreign policy??? They do not come much dumber then Obama, Kerry & Clinton when it comes to foreign policy. LMAO!!!
Cruz and Walker scare the hell out of Obama and his ilk - Cruz will take a lot of fire, but he's a bit more adept in firing back and showing the malignant fools for what they are. They will probably use Walker as their test bed to see what they can do to destroy him and use lessons learned to go after Cruz.
Walker's still high on my wish list, but I'm really praying for Cruz for now. When was the last time we had to actual conservatives to keep the juices flowing?
How is that “Reset” button working, Obummer?
I support Cruz with Bush and Paul who will never get my vote, but Walker does seem the man who frightens the Dems and then it seems Cruz and for some reason Rubio.
The Dems keep lording up Paul[Especially at FOX] and Bush as they know either two are more inline with the lefts policies.
just said the same about Cruz and Waked and then read your post.
LOVE MY GOV!
BUMP!
Scott Walker spanked and schooled the liberal Democrats not once, not twice, but three times in gaining and defending his position as governor of Wisconsin, a not inconsiderable feat in face of the unrelenting campaign against him each time. And each time, he won with larger and larger margins. This in the face of widespread demonstrations by UW-Madison professional students and union organizers that physically occupied the state capitol building, and carried on a very active anti-Walker campaign.
Oh, I’m afraid it would be real easy for the next POTUS to undo any agreement.
Nothing personal.
as far as I ma concerned Obama has trashed this once great country .. and I take it personally.
Hussein is an ignorant, arrogant, delusional POS.
.
Nothing personal, of course.
They are worried that walker could crush the union machinery in DC...
Interestingly the only campaign success he’s had is personal.
Everything/everybody he endorses goes on to fail, sports, politics, etc.
With Obama, everything’s personal.

One great thing about a Cruz campaign is that he now has a platform to address the Dear Leader. Apparently, Zero is smart enough not to attack Ted. For now. I hope Ted takes him on.
