It’s early Beethoven, working to find his way, but avoiding the icebergs Haydn and Mozart.

Thank you very much, Peace be to you and Happy Holiday!
My favorite line in Hebrew that nobody should be without:
Ani rotsa (or rotseh for a man) kaffe, bavakashah.
(I would like coffee please.)

I could tell it was early, because it is very “Classical” sounding. Still playing by the rules.

A pleasure. I’m just waiting for Captain Connie to return so I can surrender the con to her and adjourn to the wardroom.

Mostly I am curious about it’s origin and history.
It is a “Bolivian Folk Song” apparently.
The style is so repetitive, I find it hypnotic to listen to.
If you have access to other version besides
Cuarteto Continente and Los Kjarkas,
I would find them interesting to compare.

A little something for Easter. Serge Rachmaninov wrote two suites for two pianos. The first one has a finale which is his interpretation of the sound of the great bells of the Russian Orthodox cathedrals in Moscow on Easter morning.
Rachmaninov: Suite #1 for Two Pianos, finale

I am inspired to change my lullaby cd to “The Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom” by Rachmaninoff.
2 hours of acapella Russian Choir singing.
But first, I will listen to your posting.
