Martin O’Malley may have been such a lousy Governor of Maryland that his chosen heir was defeated by a Republican (in a deep blue state), but he is turning out to be good for something. Hell may have no fury like Hillary scorned, but as Elizabeth Warren demurely bides her time despite many calls for her to run, O’Malley leaps into the breach. Nick Carasaniti reports in the New York Times:
Former Gov. Martin O’Malley of Maryland, who has been promoting himself to Democrats as a potential alternative to Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2016 race for the White House, on Sunday spoke out against the possibility of a dynastic rematch between Mrs. Clinton and Jeb Bush.
“The presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families,” Mr. O’Malley said on ABC’s “This Week.” (snip)
On Sunday, Mr. O’Malley said repeatedly that “new perspectives and new leadership are needed.”
And he said that Democrats needed to nominate someone who was willing to take on “wealthy special interest groups.” Asked if Mrs. Clinton fit that description, Mr. O’Malley demurred.
“I don’t know where she stands,” he said. “Will she represent a break with the failed policies of the past? I don’t know.”
Most Democrats are far too intimidated by what Dick Morris dubbed “the White House Secret Police” to risk speaking so frankly about a candidate whose luster dims by the day. O’Malley’s not the brightest bulb in their chandelier, but he has guts, at least.

Really? But we’ve heard that Castro from San Antonio was going to be Hillary’s running mate, as the Democrats want to prove how diverse they are. Imagine a ticket with a woman and a Latino.
Assuming Democrats want to play the race/ethnicity/gender cards, it could be that any mere white man, no matter how liberal, will be odd man out.
Democrats are afraid of losing the white male vote...

O’Malley is Liberal which makes him dangerous.
Hillary is Liberal and a thief which makes her deadly.
How about a Republican ticket with a Latino and a woman? Cruz with Fiorina.
