I’ll predict how this goes. A dozen-odd guys will be ordered to dress local and do X, Y, and Z. They will get in some pick-up....drive around for four days....pretend to X, Y and Z....and mostly drink beer at some local Hooters.
Sarge will find out by the last day and chew them out. The Captain will admit that he was drunk for the whole time as well, and the Colonel was actually at some Indian reservation casino for the whole time.

Why not come to WV, GA, AK, AL, MS, north FL, SC and I guarantee that there are some here who can shoot better and move about in the woods just as good.
It would be fun to see how many of these “undetectable” forces you could identify. Make a game of it. A hundred points for each grunt; 500 for each officer. A thousand-point bonus if you “out” them publicly.

I doubt it.
Perhaps some of the officer corps, but MOST senior NCO’s and the average GRUNT take their oath to PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AGAINST ALL ENEMIES, BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC pretty damn seriously.
Contrary to popular belief; even the Spec Ops people know the difference between a lawful order and a power grab.
I don’t think they are going to want to kill their brothers, sisters, parents or those of their team mates.
Personally I would be more inclined to take orders from a Sargent Major or a Master Gunny with 30+ years of service in than a politically appointed, politically correct graduate of West Point or Annapolis.
The NCO’s families live here, not in the District of Corruption.
