Saudi deploys 100 fighter jets, 150,000 soldiers for anti-Houthi campaign.
Also from Al Arabiya:

Pakistan and Egypt are also taking part in the military campaign, contribution with air and naval forces.
Al Arabiya said Egypt, Pakistan and Sudan have also expressed readiness to contribute ground troops against the Houthis.
Excellent.
Please keep posting it and consider making it your tagline.
possibly for your ping list. Interesting link at #15 from a former terrorist, now Christian who strongly supports Israel.
I feel a need to make popcorn for some reason.
Sunni/Shiite Smackdown.
Now why would the US and / or the UK launch air stirkes? Are not they busy doing sensistivity training for their crews so that they can become a greater force for social good in the world? There are priorities you know! (sarcasm?)
I’m pretending to be a FR guy known as gator saying......
We should have made our own damned oil
That was THEN, like 70 AD. We are now in 2015. The Bible is clear, Israel WILL NOT be exiled again. They are back in the land and will stay. They WILL BE disciplined during the Tribulation. In fact, the Bible says that Two-Thirds of the Jews will die in the Tribulation, and God will bring One-Third “through the fire.” That means only 1/3d of the approximately 12-13 million Jews world wide will survive. Simple as that. The Book says so, so it is true. But, the Nation is not going away again.
The Bab el-Mandeb Strait is a chokepoint between the Horn of Africa and the Middle East, and it is a strategic link between the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. The strait is located between Yemen, Djibouti, and Eritrea, and connects the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea. Most exports from the Persian Gulf that transit the Suez Canal and SUMED Pipeline also pass through Bab el-Mandeb.
An estimated 3.8 million bbl/d of crude oil and refined petroleum products flowed through this waterway in 2013 toward Europe, the United States, and Asia.

When the first Saudi oil tanker is targeted the oil price will increase. This is good news for Russia, and the instigator Putin.
There’s that as well as the basic mess in Yemen being created by the Soddies in the first place. The Soddies used Yemen as a dumping ground for their undersirables for a century or so. But now that others are creeping into Yemen, like Iranians for instance, the Soddies are somewhat motivated to get off their buttz and clean the place up. Otherwise this will be the start of the throat cutting that’s been coming toward the Royal Soddies for quite some time now.
Muzzies killing muzzies tho-—still not seeing a downside. And if the Soddy air farce actually uses their weapons they can take out a bunch.
I hope not.
But FYI, Israel was again in exile from 600AD until about 1900. 1300 years before they began to reclaim the land and only in 1948 was Israel formally re-established.
You think it’s bad now just wait until Iran calls in help from the Russians.
Bump
Israel was not a nation from 70 AD until May 14, 1948. I don’t know where you think that Israel was a nation in the land in those dates because they were not. They were out of the land until 1948. They were scattered in 70 AD. There was another rebellion in 135 AD that was the final demolishing of the Jews by the Romans. They WERE NOT a nation again until 1948. Where do you get this stuff?
Watch yer back if your wingman is from Qatar....
We just delivered 500 million in munitions, weapons and associated accessories and evacuated our SF without EDM aka emergency destruct measures taken .....no need to return till the ISIS is running low...
Just my opinion...
SVD or FPK..... I like that rifle.
I said they were in exile for that period and therefore NOT a nation as it presently exists
Yep.
The Suez Canal is a huge cash cow for Egypt. If that sea traffic gets constricted Egypt would suck in a hurry. It would indeed be refreshing to see the Egypts get off their camel buttz and use some of that 2 billion worth of hardware we give them every year to help out in the neighborhood-——they don’t bitch as much about Israel as they used to but there is plenty of other stuff they could be doing. Like, oh, say, stopping Iran smuggling weapons to Hamas/Hezbollah. And It’s muzzie-on-muzzie violence at its best so I’ll look for the down side later.
thanks
