An Amish family faces eviction from their home after being found in contempt of court for refusing to comply with building codes on the grounds that doing so would violate the religious communitys ban on modern technology.
At a Monday hearing, a Circuit Court judge ordered the Eau Claire County sheriffs office to evict Amos and Vera Borntreger, a farming couple with four children under the age of six, from their home in the Old Order Amish community of Fairchild, Wisconsin.

Here’s where we’ll lose all doubt about Walker. He’ll do nothing to stop it.
The tentacles of the beast begin to grow longer and stronger.
Keep us updated on this point if you can. I want to know if and how he responds to this incident.
AFAIK Amish have never been bugged about building codes. Not to use it as an excuse to have the state take over their land, anyway.
There are Amish schools and stores in the two Amish communities in our county. Haven’t heard of any problems with zoning issues. There homes are easy to spot. Simple, large, and white without electricity or other facilities.
Tyranny.

The Amish know the zoning laws and building codes.
We had a Lancaster County family that refused
To put in an indoor toilet in the home. The case went
On until the judge had a stand off with the old
Amish man. The judge tossed the lawbreaker
In jail. You cannot have 2 sets of laws.
( although they build schools for Amish with out houses this very day)
The outside burning laws are ignored by Amish.
They burn whatever and whenever they like.
Could be dirty tricks right out of the bag of dirty tricks off the shelf of dirty tricks straight from the Democrats dirty tricks pantry.
The target is Walker again.
That’s right. You can’t have one set of laws that forbids the government from prohibiting the free exercise of religion (1st and 14th Amendments) and second that does just that.
Does he have the right to override a judge, or county building codes?
Seems to me the only real solution would be for the legislature to do something, then Walker could sign it.
Don't get me wrong, I think the Amish should be left alone, but realistically what can Walker do about it in the next few days before they're evicted.?
BTW, I like the poetic layout of your post.

Why shouldn’t they?
Burning is natural, clean and effective.
This country is turning to manure.
Obviously infringing upon religious beliefs were used by the defense in this court case, and the judge chose to reject that defense.
It may be where you lose all doubt about Walker, but it will take more than that for me, unless you can prove that he can intervene legally.
Walker is the chief executive of the state.
He can stop any government process dead in its tracks.

Liberal much?

“Heres where well lose all doubt about Walker. Hell do nothing to stop it.”
I should hope he won’t since he has no authority to stop a sheriff’s eviction when ordered by a Circuit Court. I guess you want him to act like Obama and ignore the separation of powers?
