How horrible. Prayers.
Vanished from radar about halfway through flight. Pilot contacted tower for a very short distress call but didn’t say what was wrong, according to fox.
Oh, no! Praying ...
Not feeling good about this, I’ve got friends on vacation there and the last leg of their trip was Germany.
Sad news. Fox has started their never ending speculationpalooza.
This is how a news story gets so screwed up.
“Emergency, Emergency, Emergency”. . .called by the flight crew. . .that is alleged. . .and this know-nothing “expert” is saying this means we are going to crash, send SAR assets. . .good gawd, times two, what nonsense is that.
With good reason: we need to know if the black boxes continued to record data right up to the time of impact. If it does, then we can seriously look at some sort of mechanical failure--and compare the black box data against what happened on Indonesia AirAsia Flight 8501 late last year.
Sad news. There won’t be any other news today. It’ll be wall to wall plane crash...until they find out it was terrorism.
This doesn't sound like single engine failure. Maybe dual engine failure, or fuel starvation, or worse (hijack).
We'll know soon with this one, there won't be any enduring mystery.
It has been over an hour all the news channels are reporting on this.
How can these channels cover something for that long based on no info.
We don’t know anything, nothing neither do these news outlets and yet they keep repeating themselves, move on there is other news to cover and so much more going on and now Shep Smith is on.
AARRGGHHH
There was a report from two weeks ago about another Airbus near-accident back in December. Oddly...the computer gave false information and the aircraft started a rapid descent. The pilot made the decision to take over and stopped the auto-pilot from continuing its action. It’d be curious what they say over this episode.
Just said the same. For over an hour the news outlets have covered nothing, now they have Shep smith on repeating what FOXC has said for over an hour.
Move on and report other news until they get some facts.
As soon as Smith fairy boy came on I turned the TV off.
Fox News is becoming all speculation all the time. There are other news stories in the world that are important to America, let’s hear them, with updates only on new facts regarding this air disaster. It’s sad, it’s tragic, it’s time to move on.
Midflight disaster is rare. Airbus is developing a reputation. Usually 3 causes of midflight disaster, weather, mechanical failure, or terrorism. If the weather was bad the pitot issue is back in play. They don’t call them Repairbuses for nothing.
Hah. . turned it off myself.
They’re actually painted international orange for high visibility.

We been traveling around the world the last few years and we’ve been on a lot of 320’s..
Who calls them that? People that don’t know the reliability stats?
And let me guess, they are running the same stock footage on a loop and you can barely make out what it is because the screen is covered with multiple layers of self-promotion graphics?
