I think if you open a store and claim to be selling guns you MUST have a Federal Firearms permit, as well as state and local permits.

What exactly is the motivation for this hairbrained scheme? Are they really doing this out of the goodness of their hearts to "make a positive difference"? This stunt is reminiscent of the gun violence clock put up near Times Square about 25 yrs ago. It was similar to the deficit awareness clock and was paid for by a scammer, Robert Berennan, who got in deep doodoo for securities fraud. I've always suspected Mr. Brennan was merely being pragmatic. After scamming all those elderly people out of their life savings, he should be a little concerned if they, or their children or grandchildren had easy access to firearms.
