DHS released another 30,000 criminal aliens onto streets
The Washington Times ^ | March 18, 2015 | Stephen Dinan

Federal immigration officers released another 30,000 immigrants with criminal records last year, following the 36,000 it released in 2013, the government announced Wednesday — though it promised to take steps to cut down on the problem.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the agency that handles detention and removal of illegal immigrants, said it will no longer allow overcrowding to be the main reason a dangerous illegal immigrant is released, and will require a top supervisor to approve the cases of any serious criminals that officers want to release.

Overall, ICE released 30,558 criminal aliens in fiscal 2014, which is down from the 36,007 criminals released a year before.

The 2013 releases prompted an outcry, and the latest news that the releases continue is likely to renew the calls for ICE to get a handle on its actions.

New ICE Director Sarah R. Saldana said the number “still concerns me.”

“I am determined to continue to take every possible measure to ensure the public’s safety and the removal of dangerous criminals,” she said in announcing the new steps.

ICE didn’t release a breakdown of criminal offenses of the new 30,000 on Wednesday, but among the 36,000 released in 2013 were 193 homicide convictions, 426 sexual assault convictions, 303 kidnapping convictions and 16,070 convictions for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

They are releasing murderers, kidnappers, sex criminals, and drunk drivers into the American populace because their home countries won't take them back?

And they released even more last year?

How the hell is all hell not breaking loose?

This is insane, the apparatchiks and the politicians and judges responsible for this need to go to jail.

Americans are the most jaded, medicated, lobotomized, lazy people ever to walk this planet. No other people with the amount of power we have, would allow this to keep going.

These aren’t just criminal illegal aliens.

They murderers, kidnappers, sex criminals and drunk drivers.

START IMMIGRATION REFORM BY CATCHING THESE MF’S AND SENDING THEM BACK TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM.

Their countries don’t want them back, TOO DAMN BAD.

This is impeachable.

I’d like to see a break down of numbers per State where they were released.

Since I haven’t had a TV in 8 years, I haven’t seen the type of shows that are on. I was in a hotel the other night, trying to find something watchable while we wind down for bed. The best thing on was some Coast Guard rescue show. It was the most banal crap imaginable. It was akin to watching a well-child check-up at the local clinic. Another show, on Animal Planet, had some guy moving a house, having all kinds of drama with a low power line. Dramatic music played, computer simulations were shown, while a guy held the line up so the house could be moved. I just can’t imagine that people sit and watch that all day, every day, but since they do, I know why America really sucks.

So there are 66,000 more criminal illegal aliens loose on the streets of America? What could possibly go wrong with a policy like that?

30,000? Isn’t that about one for each of Hildabeast’s deleted emails?

No there’s actually millions of illegal alien criminals loose on the streets.

This bunch is just the murderers, Kidnappers, sex criminals , and drunk drivers this communist bastard in the WH and his apparatchiks have released.

Times that by 6 because he has probably been doing this every year in office, your talking more like 150-180 thousand.

Republicans in Congress have proposed rewriting the law to allow for longer detention of serious criminals, and have called on the Obama administration to use existing powers to deny visas to leaders of countries that refuse to take their citizens back.

But the administration has declined to take those steps.

Those released from custody are generally supposed to be monitored, and Ms. Saldana vowed to stiffen those procedures to try to ensure those that are released are not able to commit new crimes.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

Hearing anything from the GOP-e LEADERSHIP, who crouch under their desks with all their false promises of “Give us the Senate and we will stop Obozo”? What a joke - I will not be fooled into “were else will the base go” ever again.
