Sunday on ABCs This Week With George Stephanopoulos, in light of reports that while serving as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was exclusively emailing official State Department business using her private email account, network chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl reported about Hillarys longstanding tendency to avoid legal requirements that featured a clip from a 1996 PBS interview.

It’s stunning to me how the Left media is hanging in there on this scandal of Hillary’s, as if it might finally be the straw that broke the camel’s back. Just amazing they haven’t backed off and gone all smoke and mirrors defending her....SO FAR.
Well, it is hard to defend the Clinton behavior even for a Clinton lackey
I think the left media was taken aback by such blatant bending of the rules...
I think they understand and have covered up the Clinton sheenanigans for years...this is a whole different level of arrogance...
Most were probably stunned by the sheer hubris and the expectation of them to fall in line circling the wagons...
Push back against critics is coming to defend them, but they have to get their talking points in line...in other words what lies sound the best...
“If you ran into someone who, as a matter of habit, always pulled his sleeves over his hands when touching the gearshift “
I do that whenever I open a door at a place of business! My hands are clean! Who knows where previous hands have been, or what they’ve touched?
I just can’t remember who....but a couple of years ago a guy was sentenced to prison. He was an executive in some private business, but one which was subject to government oversight and regulation. Banking, perhaps.
His crime was that as soon as he took office he instructed the people working for him to stop using email, because it could be reviewed by government regulators. The prosecution argued that his actions amounted to hiding evidence, or something along those lines. And they won.
Anyone remember this case?

Imagine the outrage if W had said that.
“Imagine the outrage if W had said that.”
______
If W had a lifetime of sleaze and a law degree he would have said this. As a matter of fact, I’m not surprised that she practices this, but I’m a little surprised that she said it out loud.
“I think they understand and have covered up the Clinton sheenanigans for years...this is a whole different level of arrogance...”
I do not think so. They just think that something like this is “clever”. They love Machiavellian manipulators.
I think they just do not like Hillery, they see how successful (for the left) Obama has been, and they want someone more openly like Obama, which Warren is. So they are kicking Hillery into the dustbin of History.
Someone needs to do a documentary.
“The Life and Crimes of Hillary Clinton.”
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Re: life and crimes of Hillary
It would have to be a series, but unfortunately, the producer(s) would meet untimely deaths. I’d label her American Jezebel. If she were convicted for each of her likely crimes, she’d be in prison for life several times over, or sitting on death row.
True dat!
I remember when she said it...
Oh, I believe you. It just seems like a moment of weakness from one who has “criminal” down to an art.
Maybe she was speaking after drinking too much gin and not enough vermouth.
