Pro-amnesty advocates will try to co-opt Sunday’s commemoration of the “Bloody Sunday” march in Selma–one of the most seminal moments in the civil rights movement and the history of the country–to again push the false narrative that amnesty for illegal immigrants is the new civil rights movement.
The Alabama Coalition for Immigration Justice is mobilizing and will bus amnesty advocates for the march, which will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the seminal march for voting rights for black American citizens. According to AL.com, the group reportedly declared that, “throughout the weekend, immigrants will stand with thousands of others converging in Selma at this historic moment to affirm their role in the struggle against racism and oppression.”
As Breitbart News has emphasized, “the civil rights movement of the 1960s was about ensuring that black Americans received all of the rights they were due as citizens of the United States while today’s pro-amnesty movement is about demanding full rights for non-citizens who entered the country illegally.”
But that has not stopped amnesty advocates, like gay activists have tried to do with their movement, from trying to tie the amnesty movement to the black civil rights movement....

This kind of hyper-emotional nonsense doesn’t have the traction it had years ago.
The event has already been corrupted by the race pimps. These illegal alien advocates will just further serve to antagonize.

Like so many other parts of our history, when the last participants in the original events are in their graves it will simply become mythology. Then, we’ll be treated to having it injected into every movie made about anything; a black baseball player in a completely unrelated setting will have to point out that his grandfather participated in the Selma march, for example...

They’ve been destroyed by it; successful blacks are the exception, not the norm. The true horror of what has been wrought is masked by government employment, social promotion in education, and affirmative action hiring that accommodates “dead wood” for the sake of “diversity”. The mask is falling off because in a global economy there is little use for semi-literate college grads of any color.
Selma this Selma that, I’m sick of hearing about Selma, blacks , homosexuals, civil rights.
We have so much to face in the way of problems and all we ever hear is the tiresome crap of the past and how some were mistreated, guess what all races have been treated bad by others, hell slavery is not just about blacks we can go back to the Romans or Vikings etc
For such an important historical event for African-Americans, the turnout was nothing to write home about!!! Obama just cannot turn them out anymore!!! You will not see anything like this in the Obamabot media. The Selma police estimated about 40,000 people. Looks more like 20,000. Why? Selma has become more impovished under the six years of Obama!!!e. African-Americans adrift at sea.....Hispanics will and are taking their jobs!! Dummies!!!

Nah they are in charge of the white house, DOJ, and other departments. they get special rights like affirmative action where whites are discriminated against. They get cheaper mortgages than whites, they gave their own colleges, college funds etc, They are allowed to have open racism towards whites etc etc etc..
Sick of hearing how they are still put down and then use the past to further their excuses today.
Selma the movie was a flop because everyone is fed up of earing about it. Kids in schools every year are told about civil rights.
Blacks are sliding back to the days of slavery (complete reliance on “master” for every basic need), and the two elections of Obama simply mask this. The fact is that without massive government intervention and fudging of numbers at all levels, blacks today are much worse off than they were fifty years ago (in terms of education, employment, crime/drug use, family situations). Their lack of achievement is the norm, while the few success stories are the exception.
“Selma” was a flop because a huge number of people living in this country today didn’t even have ancestors living in this country 50 years ago (never mind during the Civil War); the “replacement Americans” have no use for this sob story after coming from places of much less opportunity, studying and working hard, and making much more of their talents to change their status. Most people in my town arrived in this country within the last 20 years (and their numbers have surpassed blacks already); this history is irrelevant, as is any spin applied to it. “Brown guilt” isn’t working...
If you think the black unemployment rate is high now, just wait for amnesty.
