Report: ISIS Plans to Seize Libya, Flood Europe With Jihadists

The ISIS terror group is planning to take over Libya and use it as a gateway to wage war across almost all of southern Europe, the London Telegraph reported.

A document written by an Islamic State (ISIS) operative in Libya says that the group plans to flood Libya with fighters from Iraq and Syria, and have them sail across the Mediterranean Sea pretending to be refugees on human trafficking vessels.

They would then target European cities and try to stage attacks on maritime shipping, according to the Quilliam Foundation, a British anti-radicalization group which said it had seen the document.

The report comes just days after ISIS released a video showing the mass beheading of 21 Egyptian Christian guest workers on a beach in Libya. The video, which led Egypt to stage retaliatory bombings of ISIS positions in Libya, also included footage of a jihadist pointing north toward Europe and declaring: "We will conquer Rome, by Allah's permission."

The writer of the document is an ISIS propagandist who uses the alias Abu Arhim al-Libim, who boasts that the terror group is awash in weapons captured in Libya's 2011 civil war, when rebels seized mass quantities of armaments from longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi's military arsenal.

Some of the weaponry had been supplied to Gadhafi from Britain, which provided him with sniper rifles, machine guns, and ammunition.

Libim says northern Libya is less than 300 miles from some parts of the European mainland.

The West has no power to wage an effective resistance.

You are correct! Besides, when they hit shore in Italy and France they’ll have a welcoming party paid with the taxpayers money! Anyone who complains will be immediately silenced!

That’s an apt comparison. Tens of thousands of Allied troops died to get a foothold on occupied Europe, during WWII. Now, the Jihadists simply enter as “refugees”, and collect welfare, while waiting for their troop build-up to reach critical mass. Why didn’t the Supreme Allied Command think of that strategy?

Gee. Remember when we used to have a President? Those were sure swell times. The President would actually do things for the U.S.. Now, we have President Fumblebutt who created a new cabinet position, Secretary of Stupid, and gave it to Hillary and John Kerry.

I would not argue with you but will note that a lack of will translates into lack of power.

The ruling elites that let all the invaders into Europe and America are the ones who should be in a gasoline-soaked cage, not that Jordanian pilot.

“...have them sail across the Mediterranean Sea pretending to be refugees on human trafficking vessels.”

I just saw this:

Nearly 1,000 migrants brought to southern Italian ports

At least 10 migrants die in southern Mediterranean while almost a thousand more from a total of seven vessels are rescued in a single day

I laughed out loud at this. The "alleged" syndrome strikes again (the habit of leaving doubt: the alleged criminal was convicted...).

Don’t be too sure.

According to Shoebat.com, Italy is organizing a fleet in Sicily to confront the jihadis. They’re no strangers to invading Libya. Maybe this time they’ll be successful. :)

Kidding aside, the current configuration has at least one aircraft carrier, and a fleet of amphibious landing carriers.
