House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) admitted on Face the Nation Sunday morning he had no idea what the conservative caucus of the House GOP was thinking when it squelched a vote to fund the Department of Homeland Security for another three weeks.
Boehner’s plan had been to approve funding for those three weeks to allow a district court time to rule on whether President Barack Obama’s executive order delaying deportations could be implemented while a suit questioning its legality pended. A rider defunding that order is responsible for holding up DHS funding in the Senate, but if the order were put on hold the GOP’s objection would be temporarily rendered mute.
That was Boehner’s plan, anyway. Fifty-some members of the conservative caucus rebelled Friday night, forcing Boehner to partner with House Democrats to pass a one-week extension and leaving the House GOP to repeat Friday’s “mess” all over again this week.

“Did they have plan that could have succeeded that would have gotten them with they wanted,” asked host John Dickerson, “this small group you say that basically undermined your effort?”
“Not that I know of,” Boehner responded.
“Was it fruitless?” Dickerson pressed.
“The House of Representatives is a rambunctious place. We have 435 members. A lot of members that have different ideas of what with we should and shouldn’t be doing.”
“Can you lead those members?” Dickerson asked.
“i think so,” Boehner replied. “I’m not going to suggest it’s easy. Because it’s not.”

F Boehner. Clueless putz has no idea what is at stake. He should be relieved. Now.
Relying on the courts to solve your problem does not strike me as bold legislative leadership.
Why did the conservatives vote for one week extension?
He should be approving impeachment hearings on Obama’s violations of the Constitution, and on treason.
Instead, he’s puzzling over why conservatives are standing against him.
Maybe the booze is addling his brain.
I would wait for three weeks, in order to not get all worked up for something that would be solved then ... :-) ...

Of course, I should add that I’m old enough to look around when I’m bending down and on the floor, to see what else I should do ... since I’m down there anyway! ... LOL ...
But it worked out so well for GWB...
The talk this morning is all about the disarray of the Republican party, on how they can’t govern (what fool came up with that line?), or how they are endangering the country over the DHS shutdown. If McDonnell had gotten rid of the filibuster like his friend and ally Reid did, it would all be on Obama now.

Bonehead is just another CLUELESS member of Washington’s “ONE PARTY” system running their non-stop version of Kabuki theater on the American public.
They didn't - he got that through with the moderates and the democrats, as usual. That's who he prefers to work with.
He had to partner with democrats rather than talk to conservatives in his own party— people who resulted in him becoming Majority Leader. Boehner has entered the Twilight Zone!!

They didn't, but Boehner got the Democrats to vote for the one week extension along with his Republicans, so the bill passed easily.
Boehner is Obama’s BITCH.!.. if not an actual whore..
with the proclivity’s of a crack whore.. or heroin junky..
unless the democrats have video of him sodomizing a little boy.. girl.. or some animal..
which is not a deal breaker to democrats..
