It’s about gun control thru the back door.

The obama two-step:

Ban lead bullets for environmental reasons.

Ban non-lead billets as “cop killers.”

Oh yeah, ban combined lead and non-lead bullets for both reason.

You can keep your guns, you just can’t have any ammo.

Just like people in the USSR needed to government permission to buy ink! (No joke.)

These tyrannical idiots don’t realize this will lead to a lot of people going the .308 route for their AR since 5.56 is being hoarded. The unintended consequence will be ARs with a more powerful round. I’d love to see Fienstien’s reaction to that news.

Common 55 gr soft nose .223 will punch right through a 1/4 inch steel plate.

I remember reading in THE MAN EATERS OF TSAVO how Patterson used a .303 rifle to punch holes in steel beams.

Or basically the people at Lake City have competitors who want a larger share of the ammo market. And not the usual nonsense of conservatives quibbling details with the libtard fascists when they should be telling them the 2A is not about sporting purposes regardless of the stupid crap the politically correct spout. Take the freaking “sporting purposes” varmint out back of the barn and shoot it dead, please.

I’m actually disappointed that TP and the huffy post aren’t pushing this new ban. I’d love to get on there and make the gun grabbers foam at the mouth with facts.

Remember the Great Ammo Scare of 2013, when the public was stockpiling as much ammo as they could get their hands on? The media and the low info morons were calling them “crazy preppers” and “conspiracy kooks”. Now ammo, all kinds of ammo, is worth much more than its weight in gold. Who’s laughing now?

A bullet made entirely from steel or certain other materials is considered armor-piercing.

Most Russian ammo is steel core and it is the cheapest for shooting and millions of rounds are imported. That's next. Then they will ban the lead core bullets (the American stuff) to save the wildlife.

Fait Accompli...

All the BATF has to say is it IS armor piercing. Body Armor that is. Like virtually every other rifle round.

This is where the bureaucracy is going.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottoman_Empire

“In the Ottoman Empire, in accordance with the Muslim dhimmi system, Christians were guaranteed limited freedoms (such as the right to worship), but were treated as second-class citizens. They were forbidden to carry weapons or ride on horseback, their houses could not overlook those of Muslims, and their religious practices would have to defer to those of Muslims, in addition to various other legal limitations.[153]”

Now I can understand why Obama, as a Marxist and a Muzzie, is pushing the gun control and getting people out of their cars.

The main problem here is that our Congress is guilty of dereliction of duty in that it has given away it’s exclusive Constitutional power of legislation to the executive without retaining the powers of oversight and concurrence.

I noticed in this week’s circular of the outdoor outfitter [ begins w/ *C*....ends with ....*’s*] has $50. off PMC .223 bulk ammo w/ dry-storage box [55 gr FNJ; 300 rounds] on sale for $99.99 until March 8th.

Dunno if this is a good deal or not...caveat emptor. ;D
