Republican capitulation LEGALLY RATIFIES ILLEGAL AMNESTY
Vanity | 2/26/2015 | Iowacornman

The legal principal is that if you ratify through funding of the illegal act of a president gone berserk, you have just ratified his illegal act, waived objection and approved of his decree. STOP THIS!!

Folks, accept it, the republic is dead. The level of corruption and insatiable thirst for money/power is too deep. This gubbamint routinely places the interest of foreigners/foreign interest above that of American citizens. The borders are gone, social safety nets overburdened, military decimated, middle class in crisis, monumental fiscal mismanagement, socialism/communism rapidly taking hold, government attacking citizens by various agencies, Orwellian spy network monitoring credit card purchases, Internet traffic, phone calls. Government takeover of private industry, law by regulation.

Just hate to be so cynical, but folks, the ballot box ain't workin. Call, write, fax, town halls...rinse and repeat. They ain't listening. Breathtaking fraud nationwide at the ballot box, bureaucrats teaching illegal aliens how to suck the juice of life out of our society.

Evil men have crept into the halls of government, academia, media, faith. Removing God from society all the while supporting abortion, homosexual marriage. I dunno, just seems like America has so many enemies and some of the most formidable are within.

I don’t know, but the Dems are dead set against the extension. The ones at the meeting seemed very unhappy about it and Pelosi’s team is telling the Dems they can’t vote for it.

But since Boehner is going to give them everything they want anyway- indeed, what’s the point?

Thinking a little further, I think this is a good sign for conservatives. I think this shows the Republican leadership is very worried about going back to their voters as losers again. They are really caught between a rock, and a hard place because they have shown their hand, and the Democrats know all they have to do is threaten a shutdown, and the Republicans will fold. Why would they agree to an extension? Give us what we want, or we will shut down the government and blame it on you.

Funding it gives it legislative approval by statute. It doesn’t need to have a line item as you indicated.

Ah: the recess! I think you’ve hit upon it.
Conservative members don’t want to face the voters after surrendering to Obama, and RINOs don’t want to face them after letting the DHS funding expire.
Boehner is stuck LOL!

That makes absolutely no sense as a response to what I asked you.

No, it does not. Providing funding for a department does not approve actions not allowed by statute.

I have little doubt that the GOP gave Obama the greenlight behind closed doors before he announced his amnesty. Therefore it isn’t capitulation.

The basis for the present stay is the failure to meet notification and comment requirements. Funding has nothing to do with that statutory requirement (APA?) You lawyers might oughta read the district courts order. The delay proposed may have something to do with the judicial process, I’m just guessing. Dems sure seem to be worried about it.

Only works if the President is an agent of congress. The president is separate and equal.
