Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Oxon Hill, Md., on Feb. 26, 2015. Cruz was questioned by Fox television personality Sean Hannity. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr) (CNSNews.com) - Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said among his top five priorities for the United States is to abolish the IRS at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Oxon Hill, Md., on Thursday.
Sean Hannity of Fox News asked Cruz what his top five agenda items are for the country.
Number one, said Cruz. Repeal every blasted word of Obamacare.
Number two, abolish the IRS, take all 125,000 IRS agents and put them on our southern border, said the senator.
Number three, stop the out of control regulators at the EPA and the alphabet soup of Washington.
Number four, defend our constitutional rights - all of them, and
number five, restore Americas leadership in the world as a shining city on a hill.
Hannity also asked Cruz to say the first words that came to his mind when he mentioned some names.
Hillary Clinton, Hannity said.
Washington, replied Cruz.
Bill Clinton, Hannity said.
Youth outreach, Cruz joked.
Barack Hussein Obama, Hannity said.
Lawless Imperator, said Cruz.

Nonsense then the people who run the government will have no incentive not to spend the government into oblivion since they do not have to pay for it. The more we lower their taxes the more big government conservatives their are and that goes for the limousine libs the easier it is to be a socialist if you don’t have to pay the big taxes. The lib gentry and the country club conservatives are wealthy and they run the government lower their taxes and then they spend more since they don’t have to pay for it so much.

Thank you Ted Cruz. At the end of the day if the IRS is still standing we all will remain in a constant of servitude.

Every year, every American, is forced to sign under penalty of perjury, a document that is on its face a lie and impossible to verify. Ever sell something at a garage sale? Did you declare the income? YOU are a criminal. If you find this system tolerable you are likely a tax attorney, or you work for a large accounting firm.

It’s easy to know who to vote for. I just vote for the candidate that produces the maximum wailing from the establishment. Cruz fits this nicely.

Look at it this way. Government is now 35%of the economy. It is a source of subsidies and corporate welfare. If you are now a modern corporation or business man you are probably finding the government a source of business and income. If your taxes are lowered then you have no real incentive to keep government spending low because you are on the receiving end of big government just like the welfare chiseler and the public employee. Did you ever hear of a big government conservative 30 years ago? Of course not and the reason is because we lowered their taxes. Turning to regressive taxes just gives you a bigger tax bill to pay for a government that is out of control. Just listed to the Democrats and their corporate rino friends trash the Tea party because “they are working together to Conservative reforms? saving money is not on the agenda because they on the gravy train. This is something I have changed my mind about as I used to agree with you. But, not any more. As long as the money is being spent by them, as long as the border is not secure and as long as the corporate media trashes us they should just pay then when their is change on those things then maybe we will consider lowering their axges. I now believe they deserve to pay not because they are rich but because they are at fault for what is going on here.

Why not shoot for everything Cruz mentions, and repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments, and get rid of Depts Energy, Education and several others, and add term limits. Just for starters.

Let me explain something to you... The Income Tax was born because Populists screamed for a tax that hit only the rich. Don’t believe me? Check it, you have Google. But the rich are ALWAYS one step ahead, so eventually the Income Tax was applied to EVERYONE. Your circular logic guarantees that a government agency will always be one step away from taking my property and leaving me with little if any recourse. Besides, RICH PEOPLE DON’T PAY TAXES. They simply pass the cost of taxation down the line in the form of increased prices for the goods and services they provide. The consumer pays for EVERYTHING. All that I want is freedom. If I have to sign my name or go to jail, I am NOT free.
