Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Oxon Hill, Md., on Feb. 26, 2015. Cruz was questioned by Fox television personality Sean Hannity. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr) (CNSNews.com) - Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said among his top five priorities for the United States is to abolish the IRS at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Oxon Hill, Md., on Thursday.
Sean Hannity of Fox News asked Cruz what his top five agenda items are for the country.
Number one, said Cruz. Repeal every blasted word of Obamacare.
Number two, abolish the IRS, take all 125,000 IRS agents and put them on our southern border, said the senator.
Number three, stop the out of control regulators at the EPA and the alphabet soup of Washington.
Number four, defend our constitutional rights - all of them, and
number five, restore Americas leadership in the world as a shining city on a hill.
Hannity also asked Cruz to say the first words that came to his mind when he mentioned some names.
Hillary Clinton, Hannity said.
Washington, replied Cruz.
Bill Clinton, Hannity said.
Youth outreach, Cruz joked.
Barack Hussein Obama, Hannity said.
Lawless Imperator, said Cruz.
Guess we know someone who’s going to be audited.
And we know who H&R Block will not be donating to.
Cruz is the only one that scares the Washingtonians.
Cruz or bust.
oh well. NOBODY is gonna vote for That stuff!

Walker/Cruz 2016!
Also: the Department of Education, the Endowment for the Arts, Public Broadcasting,
He should tackle the more to be likely accomplished.
Nobody will abolish the IRS, in my opinion. Why try to get rid of that when we have more pressing needs.
Get rid of Obamacare, Common Core and the Democratic machine out there and all the stupid laws they put into place since that guy got elected.
That’s enough to keep anyone busy.
Either order is fine with me.
Walker/Cruz
Cruz/Walker
Both those guys sure know how to get under liberal skin, don’t they?
Youth outreach... LOL!
At this point, I am for abolish all of it, every last piece of it, not just the IRS.
I have had enough of this damned beast.
Ping
Economic freedom is the basis for all freedom. IRS is the greatest impediment to freedom that we face.
Third Party, Third Party! Third Party. Bush wins with winner take all !! Bush wins with Winner take all. I want Cruz/Carson independent ticket to to blow up this oligarchy. TEA PARTY IS PISSED!!!
Agree. We need to get rid of the IRS. The sooner the better.
1. secure the borders.
2. name solid supreme court appointees who will not falter or fail.
3. Media reform-break up the media giants and put the networks out of business.
4. National right to work sock it to the unions.
5.Defund the left.
6.Appoint solid US DAs who will investigate Dem corruption and who would make good nominees for higher office.
Abolishing the IRS would be a good start.
To get Fedzilla back into its Constitutional cage would be a multi-President undertaking.
Awesome answers, all around.
Cruz is fearless. I like it.
Why not abolish the IRS? Replace our income tax system with a national sales tax and get rid of the majority of the IRS.

THE IRS is what feeds them ... IRS is First! Can’t have Obama Care without the IRS ... ect etc etc
TT
All good stuff from Cruz, but we also desperately need to peel away the death grip the left has on our colleges and universities.
I’d take the 125,000 IRS agents and a couple hundred thousand apparatchiks from other useless agencies and send them to fight ISIS.
Our military makes peanuts compared to most of the six figure income FEDGOV workers, let them REALLY earn that money.
