"....In Walker's defense, Tim Graham of the Media Research Center (Exposing and Combating Liberal Media Bias) offers this exegesis: Walker, the son of a Protestant minister, hears the question very differently: asking if someone is a Christian is a very personal question, asking whether someone has committed themselves to Jesus in their heart. Its like asking if he knows how often Obama prays. His reluctance to answer for someone he doesnt know is not a No. "
Nice try, but the political context of the question was clear and its the one Milbank mentioned: the conviction that Obama is a Muslim from Kenya......
Based on the public record, Walker should have been able to affirm personally what his spokeswoman did: that Obama identifies as a Christian -- and not just a "social justice" liberal Christian. In an interview with Christianity Today in 2008, Obama said that accepting Jesus Christ in my life has been a powerful guide for my conduct and my values and my ideals........

If Obama was a Christian his followers would abandon him in a flash.
He ain’t Christian.
If he was he would be able to explain, proudly, his transformation and the effects in his life.
I’m being vague because I don’t want to to give this Moslem Sympathizer any good answers to suddenly come up with.
If he were a Christian I would think he would procaliam as much on the town square, like he did with his fake birth certificate.
Because communists are invariably atheistic?
Because Obama is not a Christian.
Now those who've spent three generations throwing Christians out of public life want to tell everyone what a Christian is.
Up your's, leftists.
Not very Christian of me, I know.
The bottom line is, no one can declare anyone a Christian, that will be decided, not by man but by God. An idiot question and by not answering, Walker exhibited more understanding of his faith than most. Being a Christian can mean many things. One may go to a Christian church, one may not go to church but yet believes in Jesus Christ as the savior. One may declare they are a Christian and faithfully attend church but lives a life far from Christianity.
Because he's not stupid?
Dana got his panties in a wad over “creationist” Christians.
Ask Barack Obama if he believes God created the universe. If not, ask him if God(s) sprang forth from the Big Bang, if God was surprised by the Big Bang, or if God doesn’t really exist.
If you believe in God, you are most likey a “creationist”.
Fred Phelps was a fraud and a tool. A Democrat tool used to smear the religious ‘right’.
More exactly, A Christian is compelled to proclaim Jesus as Lord and Saviorm...
Keep it up, mediots - the more you attack Walker, the more attention you draw to the issue.
He could only must up “God is in the mix” in being able to denounce same sex marriage.
When his wife spoke about those who pray for the Obamas, she said something about how they keep the evil spirits away.

OBAMA: So, once again, we have the power. We’ve got this man in office. I think we’re all proud of Barack and his accomplishments. Everybody I know in our communities are praying for us. Every day we feel that. And let me just tell your listeners that it means all the world to us to know that there are prayer circles out there and people who are keeping the spirits clean around us.
TOM JOYNER (host): Yes, they are.
OBAMA: So, that means a great deal. So, we’ve come a long way, but we got to keep it coming.
How in the world would Scott Walker know?
Maybe the Times should pray for more guidance on this one...
???! What does he think that prayer is FOR?
The great Cham of Literature Samuel Johnson once spoke of a certain infidel, Foote, “I do not know, sir, that the fellow is an infidel; but if he be an infidel, he is an infidel as a dog is an infidel; that is to say, he has never thought upon the subject.” Ditto, I can assure you that Obama has never really thought upon the subject except in a very superficial way and as a necessary expedient to fool his horde of sycophantic lickspittles.
Awww, is the L.A. Slimes upset?
How is that print media workin’ out these days?
And, isn't that what Walker said; that he had never had a conversation with him about this subject, so he couldn't say. It sounded like a reassonable explanation to me.
Why does he wear a ring that says that there is no God higher than Allah? I think I got that right or close.
