All one has to do is understand WHY the Second Amendment was added to the Bill of Rights. Simple but very important.

Gun ownership is what a free people do. When the government takes away your firearms, you become their slave in chains. I would never expect the Euro-peons to understand that.

Does the 10th Amendment ever trump the Second?

Why, no. The 10th Amendment says that states cannot do things that the Constitution forbids, such as violate the Second.

I’ve been shooting since I was 14, when my Dad took us kids up to an open field and set up a target while our moms were fixing Thanksgiving dinner. My husband is an Army marksman and my daughter, also Army, was shooting on her college rifle team at a national level.
It’s not the gun, the bullet or the trigger. It’s the individual handling the gun.

If Europeans want to be mown down by Islamic terrorists due to their senseless victim disarmament laws, that’s their choice.

We don’t.

What we must do is find a way to live with two radically different philosophies side by side in the same country.

I've got an idea: how about we give the hoplophobes the Northeast and the two coasts, and DC, and the free men and women take the rest.

My family and I will NEVER NEVER NEVER give up my guns. If this state tries to take them, we will stand against them. If it gets bad enough, we will move somewhere else. If that fails, we will kill the tyrants when they come for us and our neighbors.

WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER. NEVER.

Clear enough, Mr. Hankinson of the Fiscal Times?

The fact that British gun death rates are much lower then in the U.S. merely shows that a police state can be effective, and that a nation which no longer believes in God can end up being a far worse place than one that does.

In 1960 pretty much everyone in the U.S. believed and that meant they also believed that taking life unjustly was a mortal sin. Everyone had guns...they just didn’t use them to commit murder.

A free people has to be self policing. We used to do that. Once you lose the religion...well, what’s to stop you?

We won’t give up our cars either, despite the fact that you are 10000 times more likely to die in a car accident than a gun accident.

What are the odds of dying in a hospital? How many die in a hospital every year due to accidents, incompetence, murder, or infections?

No government will ever be able to take all of our guns. A significant number of them are buried in unmarked caches, vacuum sealed after being covered in cosmoline, along with ammunition.

Australia reacted by banning several categories of weapons, a legislative feat which required concerted action by all its states as well as a one-time national program to buy back guns, funded by a temporary tax, which spent $AUS 350 million to purchase 643,000 firearms.

Australian authorities expected 2.5 million firearms would be turned in.

It ain't just Americans not giving up their guns.

When the citizens have the right to keep and bear arms there is no doubt there will be an increase in gun violence between citizens resulting in death. Some of these deaths are murder and some of them are in self defense.

All of history be it in the time of sticks and stone, sabers and lances, and firearms show that with absolute certainty if the populace does not have the right to bear sticks, stones, sabers, lances and firearms the king, sultan, emir, tyrant or leader of of nation will inflict massive death on its populace to retain power.

If you doubt my words ask the Jew of Germany in 1943, ask the Kulaks of Russia in 1917, as the Chinese that opposed Mao in 1948 (90 million Chinese), Ask 30% of the population of Cambodia in 1977, ask those that resisted Castor of Cuba in the 60s.

Do not waste your time. They are dead at the hands of the state. Most of the above were lined up in front of walls and shot. They were then pushed into ditches and covered up with earth by bulldozers. They were the lucky ones. Others meet fates that were much worse.

Give your guns up to the central government if you trust them. I DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I am of 66 years of age. I have shot weapons since my grandfather had to hold up the end of a rifle for me. My many weapons have never been used in an unlawful manner.

What is the problem with free men and women possessing weapons? !!!
