So is every woman in this country over a certain age a bitter, jealous hag, or just those who write for a living?

Don’t shortchange, some of those bitter, jealous hags are men.

The Left knows that Palin can connect with the slacker crowd, so hence the celebrity spin.

So is every woman in this country over a certain age a bitter, jealous hag, or just those who write for a living? I know that MoDo can be very catty and nasty at times, but which parts of the article do you object to?

Yes, and because they didn’t want anyone else upstaging her they didn’t invite you Maureen.

of course if Sarah Palin was a Democrat the left would be all impressed. The Democrat war on women continues.

Can’t say Palin chose the best outfit for a woman of her age and station.

What if I were to choose Donald Trump as my running mate?
I'm no Trump fan, but if Palin wanted to make a serious 3rd Party run in the event that Jeb Bush got the nomination, Trump could fund the whole ticket (a la Perot) as the VP nominee; but I think he loves his money too much.

While I am not going to subject myself to 5 minutes of MoDo bile I can’t help but feel (from the excerpt) she makes the correct point that Palin has become more celebrity than serious political figure. She may be able to get back in the game as a representative or maybe even a Senator but until then I think she has diminished much of her political capital.

I was hoping that what she said was a sly way to say she was running...Trump or no Trump. :)

Maureen Dowd looks like a woman who hasn’t gotten laid in EVER..like all liberals, they sound like 13 year old girls who are jealous that the popular girl in school is getting all the boys and they are getting nothing but swirlies

Wonder how many heads exploded in that crowd when she mentioned running?

"So is every woman in this country over a certain age a bitter, jealous hag, or just those who write for a living?" No, sir, they are not. Maureen Dowd? Most likely, yes.
I'm going to say this even though I might get flamed. A woman can be good-looking and conservative and not necessarily be a Sarah Palin fan. I used to be, but I've moved on, even though I appreciate the things she does to advance conservatism.
My sister-in-law is gorgeous, and I don't use the word lightly...she's not very fond of Palin. My mother-in-law is still stunning at 71, and she shares her daughter's opinion of the governor. I'm Sarah's age, and I've managed to maintain myself pretty well. So there's no jealousy involved on any of the females in this family...we simply believe there are those who are much more suitable for the office of the presidency.
I might feel differently if Palin were the same woman who gave that electrifying convention speech in 2008...but I don't think that's the case.
If she somehow became the nominee, I'd vote for her. But she's never going to run, despite not being able to resist the tease. I would much prefer to vote for Ted Cruz.
