A father in Seminole County, Florida, is raising concerns after he discovered a lesson on Islam in his son’s 10th-grade history textbook, a book that is also used by school districts across the state.
In an interview with WFTV, the father, Ron Wagner, read from his son’s history book:
“There is no god, but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.”
Wagner also claimed that students were told to “recite this prayer as the first Pillar of Islam, off of the board at the teacher’s instruction.”
Wager said he’s not a religious man, but making such a heavily religious lesson “mandatory and part of the curriculum” just “didn’t seem right.” He wasn’t even aware such lessons were being taught until he saw a text on his son’s phone from a teacher — a reminder to complete his prayer rug assignment and study an assigned packet on Islam.
The textbook in question is titled “World History” by publisher Prentice Hall. WFTV has more on the content in the chapter on Islam:
Inside of the book is a chapter dedicated to the “Rise of Islam,” including prayers and scriptures from the Quran. What’s more disturbing for Wagner is that the first 100 pages discussing Judaism and Christianity are missing. The district blames a manufacturer defect in 68 books that are only a year old.

And having "converted" to Islam, even if you did not intend to, if you then practice Christianity or anything else, you are guilty of apostasy, and subject to being killed...
I’m sure they will have to memorize the Nicene Creed and have the “Cross carving project” so that the muslims will learn about Christianity...

America is lost. I, for one, am in favor of splitting into two nations. We can preserve the union if we let the fascist left go and run their own country into the ground. There is no defeating this in our current environment. As we see with the direction of education, it’s only going to get worse with each generation.
The index starts with page 1, but the first 100 are missing.
Come to think of it some of my books that are 5 years old don't have pages 1 to 100, it must be something like the "New Math"
We should teach my version of the Shahada. “Their is no god named Allah and Mohammed is a false prophet.”

Would they ever say, in a news story about Christianity (or, more likely, a news story about a “work of art” that mocks Jesus, “Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?” Not in a million years.

How to Convert to Islam - The Testimony of Faith (Shahada)Becoming a Muslim is a simple and easy process. All that a person has to do is to say a sentence called the Testimony of Faith (Shahada), which is pronounced as:
I testify “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasoolu Allah.”
These Arabic words mean, “There is no true god (deity) but God (Allah), and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God.” Once a person says the Testimony of Faith (Shahada) with conviction and understanding its meaning, then he/she has become a Muslim.
To insincerely recite the shahada is blasphemy. Blasphemy in Islam is any impious utterance or action concerning God, Muhammad or anything considered sacred in Islam.
So, the school is either teaching students to blaspheme or to convert to Islam, depending on the sincerity of the recitation.
The penalty for blasphemy is death. The penalty for renouncing Islam is death. So, the school is forcing any Christian student to commit a capital offense under sharia law. I am sure that the local school teacher is simply ignorant of the subject she is teaching. I'm not sure about the textbook authors.
Next week they will ask students to recite the “Hail Mary” rosary prayer as written on the blackboard, to further their understanding of Catholicism

If that were me, the feathers would definitely be hitting the fan. I would have a heart-to-heart talk with the teacher, the principal, everybody. This would NOT stand.

Let's assume for a moment that there is nothing nefarious at work. It is all an innocent mistake due to a manufacturer defect leaving out 100 pages....
In that case, what in the world is the school district doing accepting defective textbooks? Textbooks are very expensive. I wouldn't accept a book of any kind that was missing more than a few pages. But this district pays full price (or rather the taxpayers pay full price) for textbooks missing 100 pages. Frankly, if I were the school district and this Dr. Michael Blasewitz, who is in charge of the high school curriculum, I wouldn't consider the defective book “my problem”. The defective books would have been shipped back to the manufacturer upon receipt with the expectation that they would be replaced with textbooks that are not missing content.
NO!!! No Prayer??? No ISLAM teaching! If they can “separate” our God from our children’s schools, then we can use the same law to keep theirs the hell out of our schools! Works both ways!
30 some years ago when I was in High school, I took World Religion and there were no prayers in the teaching of Islam. There were no mandatory visits to Mosques.
You can thank the Liberal school board members and faculty for changing the teaching of our children.
