Several week long CAX, [live fire shoots] simulated Soviet first strike, Rapid Deployment Force training & stand by’s [at Camp Wilson (EAF airfield)] [Standby for Beirut bombing],C-rats, testing MRE’s & the LAV’s & Hummers anything else some durned fool in DC wanted for the Marine Corps......

My son-in-law is stationed at Pendleton but has spent more than half of the last few months out at 29 Palms “out in the field”.
I did not like the stumps when I was there in 1984. Or 1986. Or 1987.
