U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry honored the memory of a Jordanian pilot tortured to death by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in finally calling the group by its Middle Eastern, regional Arabic name: Daesh.
The radical Islamic terror group that swallowed massive territory in Syria and Iraq and is penetrating into Europe, the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza, already has had many names. [ ]
Kerry went on to detail how each week brings new examples of how far the evil of these extremist groups reaches. Daeshs execution of a captured Jordanian pilot by burning him alive is a new level of depravity. And far from hiding such a despicable act, they posted a video of it for all the world to see. And last week, the UN reported the horrifying ways that Daesh treats even its most vulnerable captivescrucifying children; burying children alive; handpicking mentally challenged children to serve as suicide bombers and kill even more innocent people. This is what were up against.

It is considered both a Noun for the Islamic State, and it also considered an Action Verb - Dash.
The usage of the the Noun and Verb form of Daesh is "The Islamic State Dashed across the Middle East and Europe conquering and subjugating the masses to Islam, leaving reduced population under the new government.
Now wait. We went from ISIS TO ISIL to ISLAMIC STATE and now to “Daesh”. Crap, I don’t know how to pronounce that since I am not a Muslim or of the Islamic faith.
Do we pronounce this “Dash” or what?
The pronunciation of “douche” has been suggested.
The thing is the name of our enemy, as it relates to the American public, is constantly changing.
ISIS to ISIL to IS now DAESH, then there was some crap thing called the Corzine group that our government invented out of thin air, and when most poeple seemed to refer to it as ISIS, out genius government insisted upon calling it ISIL.
It just generally creates a state of perpetual confusion in a public with a notoriously limited attention span generally speaking, thus that public is not able to focus on this specific foe.
If you do not have the power to name your foe, then you do not have the power to defeat your foe.
“The pronunciation of douche has been suggested.”
You must be right. “Douche” generally is a term connected to women, so we are calling them “women”, right? They would hate that since women are inferior objects to them. Got it - “DOUCHE TERRORISTS”, they are as ineffective as weak women. Do send this info. directly to the Douche Terrorists.
Not necessarily by the overloards , but by subtrefuge.
I am sure that DAESH word usage is no accident ,
to reaffirm Zero's contention that Daesh is not ISLAMIC
Just another ISLAMIC Taqiyya ( lie to the non-believer) allowed by ISLAMIC law to further ISLAMIC conquest.
As stated earlier , if you you don't know your enemy , you cannot defeat him.
That includes giving them an accurate name !
Unusual that Kerry, the State Dept. , and the _resident use the same name after the secret Muslum meeting in the WHite House ...NO ?
I want CAIR not be pronounced as CARE, but as Ca-Ir. It sounds more Muslim that way.
And I want Mexican “dreamers” to be called something derogatory, but I haven’t figured it out yet. Maybe Ass-Tecas.
Whatever the current administration calls them, they don’t want to call them terrorists, Islamic or a threat.
