The "snowmaggedon" of the past two weeks will almost certainly move Boston into the top 10 snowiest winters of all time Monday.
"It's like the Energizer Bunny. It just keeps going," said Storm Team 5 meteorologist Cindy Fitzgibbon.
The seemingly never-ending snowfall will give Boston over 73 inches for the winter, passing the 72.9 inches that fell during the winter of 1903-1904.
As of 7 a.m., 66.3 inches had fallen this winter season at Logan Airport, where snow is officially measured.
"For the past 14 days it seems like we have had a constant snow removal operation in Boston," said Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.
Boston also set a record with the most snow in 30 days with 60.8 inches.
The prior record was the 58.8 inches that fell before, during and after the Blizzard of 1978. However, this time that record was set in 17 days, not 30.

“Everyone on this thread talks as if the only place in this country that has POS lawmakers (or even people in general) who support a global warming agenda is the Northeast.”
Well, I never said anything remotely close to that, so stop exaggerating.

Of course, that’s a threat of snow. In Los Angeles, a threat of an inch of rain will send the populace to loot the supermarkets in abject panic.

Boston area here———still snowing.
Frustrating-—and a bad case of cabin fever.

IMO its God punishing them for electing elizabeth warren and the other God hating, pro-gay, pro-abortion communists.Yeah, well I didn't vote for that idiot and would have appreciated some advanced warning so I could make arrangements. The snow affects us all here including the Faucahontas voting crowd.
Heck, Noah got quite the SitRep beforehand. Just asking for a little warning.

I lucked out in that I started the paths after the first big snowfall and kept at it. Mr. Roberts here....I tried that. But my area got 35" of snow in the first big storm 2 weeks ago and trying to create the area for the dog wound up burying the snow blower. Dog loses.

When I lived in Eastern Pa there was a year it snowed like Boston’s now....I’d just get my car shoveled out from the last storm and another on the way.....loads of it! I had to shovel in “layers” it was so deep!
After the third storm they pretty much closed the town down......and the snow kept coming....snow mobiles were used on the roads so I went out walking that night to break the sense of “cabin fever”....it worked. It was also fun because I ran into others along the way also getting out of their homes.
When I got home I was refreshed and laughed to myself as I recalled my mother use to tell us kids to “go outside and get the stink blown of of us!”...lololol.
