When I lived in Eastern Pa there was a year it snowed like Boston’s now....I’d just get my car shoveled out from the last storm and another on the way.....loads of it! I had to shovel in “layers” it was so deep!
After the third storm they pretty much closed the town down......and the snow kept coming....snow mobiles were used on the roads so I went out walking that night to break the sense of “cabin fever”....it worked. It was also fun because I ran into others along the way also getting out of their homes.
When I got home I was refreshed and laughed to myself as I recalled my mother use to tell us kids to “go outside and get the stink blown of of us!”...lololol.
I always was a snow walker but no more, because of my age and a fear of falling.
Walking in a heavy snowstorm at night was awesome——it was so quiet.
