In a hearrt-warming reminder that Brian Williams’ heroism doesn’t just extend to taking enemy fire while riding in a helicopter in Iraq – oops – but saving puppies, Williams wrote in 2011 while he was still peddling his war-time heroism that he once joined firefighters and saved a puppy from a burning house. Williams boasted of his heroic exploits for USA Today....

"My firehouse was a modest engine company — three engines, three garage doors and about 30 of the best men I’ve ever known.
"We fought all the usual fires that break out in the suburbs: brush fires, car fires, dumpsters, dryers, light fixtures — and worst of all, the occasional house, already in flames when we arrived.
"I remember one such house fire — the structure was fully involved with flames and smoke. I was wearing a breathing apparatus, conducting a search on my hands and knees, when I felt something warm, squishy and furry on the floor of a closet.
"I instinctively tucked it in my coat. When I got outside, I saw two small eyes staring up at me, and I returned the 3-week-old (and very scared) puppy to its grateful owners."
Strangely, Williams never followed-up with the full story of his hands badly charred, face burned, or the fire engine he rode in escaping a narrow brush with an oncoming car.
Yup, he’s just a regular guy who makes $10 million a year, but Williams knows that once, he could go toe-to-toe with Death and emerge the victor.
As he wrote, “I keep my fire helmet in my office at 30 Rock here in New York as a constant reminder of who I used to be and what I used to do.”

Now I have a better understanding of why Brian W. praises and fawns compliments by the ton whenever he is near Barack Obama. Brian has a lot of respect and admiration for the top Liar of the Land. It’s something he can only aspire to imitate with little white lies.

There are a couple of ways Williams might survive this and it doesn’t involve sacrificing a puppy or something like that. First, shed tears an apologize on live TV. Second, I don’t believe this is all on him. I bet that NBC themselves put him up to it and told him this is what we want (the story and narrative). If so, he can start naming names. He will have no future at NBC or probably anywhere else except Al Jazeera. If indeed something like that is possible he is holding a trump card. I actually would prefer this outcome as I completely despise NBC if indeed it turned out to be true.
NBC’s history of fabrication makes them very suspect. Maybe NBC has already setup an off shore account for him.
Yes, they will call the Lance Armstrong/Brian Williams cycling team for the Tour de France The Pedaling Pathological Liars. When they win due to their cheating, there will be a special additional connotation to the team wearing The Yellow Jersey.

Must be contract renewal time for Brian and NBC doesn’t want to cough up. Good riddance. Pretty boys who read news shouldn’t make tens of millions each year.

Quite frankly, I’d rather see them run the “steel eel” up Obola’s backside. Maybe they’d find his real BC and all of his school records too right alongside his “stash.”

Brian William’s son just graduated from Elon University in North Carolina. Supposedly, Brian has given a $hitload of money to Elon to build a huge building for a school of journalism and name it after him. Wonder if they might be having second thoughts now?
