Wednesday at the Detroit Economic Club, former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) said to “create high, sustained economic growth,” we need to “dramatically expand immigrants that are coming to work.”
Bush said, “It seems to me we ought to be strategic about this about how do we create high, sustained economic growth And that is to shift away from family reunification being almost the sole driver of illegal immigration to narrowing that do what every other country has, spouse and minor children. And dramatically expanding immigrants that are coming to work. A guest worker program to deal in the areas where there are shortages.”

How can they just ignore the fact that so many citizens are out of work? Things have changed in the last ten years.

That’s the point. You can’t expect to win offering the same thing as the opposition. They can and will always offer more. Why vote for him when she’s the real thing?
The Bushes assume they will get the white vote just by showing up. So they can not only take it for granted, they can even abuse them - they’ve been double crossing their supporters for decades (”no new taxes”).
So they think they can go after the Rat vote with the same gravy, and us Evil Whiteys got nowhere to go.

I guess, I’m one of the few that thinks we can send them all back. The 12 million are not all clustered in one place, they are scattered about in manageable clumps, and immigration law enforcement can be increased where they are clumped to whatever level that it needs to be. All that is needed is to systematically find them and deport them. There can be a lot of things done also to encourage self deportation (no welfare benefits, no housing, no jobs, etc.) It may take a couple of years but if there is a will to send these invading parasites back to their homes, it certainly can be done.
Expand immigrants? He wants to make them fatter?
People worried about their next meal don’t cause a fuss for the oligarchs. After the great expansion of the middle class after WWII, what did we have? The Civil Rights Movement, Women’s Lib, the anti-War Movement. Who needs that noise?
in some states 70% of illegal immigrants are on welfare, food stamps, SS etc- How in Hell can Bush think bringing more of that into our country will help?

People don’t have children when they feel insecure about a job. So they take extreme measures.

You’re right. Ike did it in the 1950s with Operation Wetback. One of the easiest, least noticeable ways to do it would be to check immigration status of each suspicious person whenever that person interacts either with social services or interacts adversely with law enforcement. If that doesn’t pressure illegals to self deport, it will at least deter them from applying for health and welfare benefits and make them very careful to avoid any illegal activity, from speeding all the way up to murder.
