Just came in from outside. Nice 61 degrees and very blue, sunny skies.

I was out running my tractor and pulling my cultivator over my big garden beds. Love the smell of fresh, tilled earth! I usually plant Irish potatoes and English peas the first week of February, so I’m not early, I’m Southern!

Around here, that don't even merit taking the shovel down. If the walks need cleaned, a push broom or leaf blower will handle the job.

...and AB, while I'm happy for you that you're already planting, I'd have to blast to get a plow into the dirt before Easter (and maybe as late as Memorial Day).

Shoot, we haven't even properly started Winter in Montana yet. Tourists might see a 50 degree day like we've got right now and think Early Spring, but the trees, critters and us Old Farts know better.

Interestingly zero is using the very fact that we have low prices to poo-poo the Keystone pipeline even though he knows its good for the country. Not his agenda obviously. I still say Keystone is all about Venezuela/Iran.He knows that Venezuela desperately needs us to refine their heavy crude and if we get the slightest excuse to even cut back from doing so it really screws up their Hugo Chavian economy. zero can't have that for a fellow communist.He needs to help the commie pinkos in Venezuela as much as the Castro brothers in Havana.
Also Castro still needs Venezulean help and any distraction in help from them screws over the terrorist Cubans.
