Every word in every State of the Union speech is vetted. And President Barack Obamas decision to say a certain word among the 6,718 he uttered on Tuesday is reverberating through the LGBT community. Thats because Obama just became the first President to say the word transgender during such a high-profile occasion. And most advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights are thrilled.

It’s an assault on sanity.
Some of them look say, male, but they think they are female and wish to live as female. And vice versa. There might well be cases of people who are 100% male genetically but who wish to live as female - the ones I believe are being objected to in this thread - but the existence of the latter doesn’t negate the existence of the former; there really are people who are not definitely either male or female, and this isn’t a matter of their choosing.
Normal is a baseline of the expected standard.
Without normal there would be no mental illness, which we know isn’t true.
You can’t cure mental illness by denying normal exists.
And on language. “Gender” is a term used for grammar.

>>There are some people with both boy parts and girl parts. Butterflies and birds too. Are they against science, too?
They’re also genetic mutants.
I am only attempting to establish that they exist.

So should a president include references to all types of paraphiliacs when he addresses Congress?
Male cardinals are red, females are white....

Uh, no. Males are red, and
“Females are pale brown overall with warm reddish tinges in the wings, tail, and crest. They have the same black face and red-orange bill.”

Do you have any more science for us?
Why are the liberals inflicting transgender permanence on people and society when it can be also considered mental illness? Are all leftists mentally ill? Don’t answer. However, without God anything is legitimate isn’t it?
Gay cardinals wear a little red hat.
Are you smoking something out there in CO? Unless Coloradoans cardinals are different from eastern cardinals the females are not white. They are a orangish dull brown.
Nope, long before him was James Buchanan.
Ambiguous genitalia is a congenital birth defect and most usually a biological gender can be determined as one set of characteristics is more dominant. Science is indeed helpful in these cases.
Nice butterfly...if it hadn’t been caught by a budding scientist for display, it would have been quickly devoured by a bird due to it’s inability to camouflage itself.
He didn’t say Christian!
I was basing my comment on the appearance of the photo rather than from a font of knowledge about bird-watching. I am not a birdwatcher, but there is no doubt that the bird in the photo is a gynandromorph, half-male and half-female. The same can be said of the butterfly I pictured. http://news.discovery.com/animals/bi-color-cardinal-mystery-110531.htm
Obama and pals are proof that crazy people do cling to each other.
The birds out in CO must be smoking drugs out there or something along with the dizzy drugged up loons living there.
The existence of hermaphrodites has nothing to do with the sick folks who mutilate themselves to further their “pretend” game of being something they’re not.
The proper term is not “transgender”, it’s “mentally ill”.
Serial killers exist. Not sure what your point is.
...but there is no doubt that the bird in the photo is a gynandromorph, half-male and half-female.

Well, I have do doubts until I see actual scientific proof.
The non-red side of this cardinal looks white in the photos and not at all like the color of a female. It is probably just some mutation affecting bird’s production of pigmentation. The person quoted in the piece could have found that out easily with a simple search.

I have seen white-tailed deer that have an odd white coloration to their hides, but that did not suggest to me that they were sexually hermaphroditic.
And this quote from your link almost made me LOL. Reminiscent of the Big Foot sightings:
Frustratingly, right after the trap was set up, our resident male cardinals started to exhibit territorial behavior and chased it whenever they saw it near the feeder. So we never were able to capture it, said Ammann.
