In the State of Union speech last night, Obama introduces the idea -
- "we should choose who do we want to be in the next 15 years..."
Shortly followed by Obama's Important Question to us all:
- "Do we accept an economy where only a FEW will do SPECTACULARLY WELL?"
But haven't most of us bought a LOTTERY Ticket and enjoy when there is a $100,000,000 Lottery Winner - hoping we win next time?
Haven't we always accepted:
- Professional Star Sport Players like Michael Jordan making $10,000,000 a year and more
- Movie Stars being Multi-millionaires
- Movie producers like Steven Spielberg - making 10s of millions of dollars
- Musical groups like the Beatles and Rolling Stones making 10s of millions of Dollars
- Lottery Winners - winning 100 Million Dollar lotteries
- Great Inventors like Steve Job, founder of Apple Corporation, rewarded with billion of dollars as we benefit from the Apple iPhone, iPads & iPods
- And like Bill Gates of Microsoft having billions as we benefit from the PC Microsoft Operating System
- Great Creators like Elon Musk, a multi-millionaire, as he created Pay Pal, Space X Corporation, Tesla Motors, & a Solar Power Company
- etc?.
- We in America and much of the western world HAS ALWAYS ACCEPTED that a FEW will do Spectacularly Well!
To President Obama - "YES WE DO ACCEPT!"
OBAMA seems to be one of the Few who could make such a "Spectacular" statement as that so carefully crafted for a State of the Union Address to the Nation ! - LOL
47% do not accept.
He is gambling that they can win a few % more to their side by 2016.
We should hobble the few.
Obama, you dullard. If all of us did “spectacularly well” then we would be doing spectacularly well. We’d just be doing average.
Read Vonnegut's short story, "Harrison Bergeron", and imagine Obama as the chief handicapper.
Edit: *wouldn’t be doing spectacularly
The best way for most people to do spectacularly well is to cut the US budget, cut the US budget deficit, and cut taxes, while simultaneously getting the gubmint off all of our backs.
No ... That's why we reject your cronyism and socialism.
Cut tax rats, cut actual spending, eliminate whole agencies and programs ... then we'll see real growth in jobs, opportunity and widespread personal prosperity.
Under Obama, the rich have grown richer than at any time in American history. Give an assist to the GOPe.
Says the Sultan who takes multi-million dollar junkets at taxpayer expense almost every weekend.

Maybe he is saying that nobody should be rich?
who is to decide what is fair? And how much does that pay?
Ya mean like Bill Gates....who has created a bazillion jobs one way or another??
The gibsmedats want more stuff for free. They have been convinced that they are poor because someone else is wealthy.
“The Crisis is Over.”
(”We, the Exempt Ones, are successfully stealing our fraud money back with Extortion-Care.”)
“Do we accept an economy where only a FEW will do SPECTACULARLY WELL?”
I do because those that don’t do well are mostly the lazy that will take whatever they can get with the least amount of effort.
Some diligent FRiend pointed out here the other day that King 0 provided this moral instruction not long after enjoying a $500.00 lunch, the amount he wants to give as a `tax credit’ to ... hardworking, um, underprivileged Americans (quietly clearing throat) who pay no taxes.
He must have - its his economy.
