Michael Moore took a Twitter potshot at the acclaim being heaped on Clint Eastwood's film "American Sniper," tweeting that snipers are cowards not heroes, The Daily Mail reported.
"American Sniper," starring Bradley Cooper, is based on the true story of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, a special forces sharpshooter who was credited with 160 confirmed kills — reportedly the most in U.S. military history.

Kyle believed he actually took down 255 enemy combatants.
Moore, a left-wing populist filmmaker, tweeted to his 1.79 million followers: "My uncle killed by sniper in WW2. We were taught snipers were cowards. Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren't heroes. And invaders r worse."
Eastwood's movie has won both popular and critical acclaim, being nominated for six Oscars.
The liberal New York Times gave the film a generally sympathetic review, placing it in the context of "Eastwood's commitment to the themes of vengeance and justice in a fallen world."
Moore made millions on his own films, including Fahrenheit 9/11 which portrayed the George W. Bush administration as having manipulated the aftermath of the 9/11 Islamist attacks on the U.S. to further its greed-driven agenda for wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

If a single sniper bullet kills an enemy soldier who would have killed two American soldiers, what is the net result of that single bullet?
Today we are fighting cowards hiding among crowds using women and children to do their bidding. But since Mr. Moore brought it up, I say yes, let's get rid of snipers, resurrect Patton, and fight using World War II.

A friend of mine once worked in a crematorium. He told of incinerating a very obese person (not unlike Michael Moore) and said the fat just kept flowing from the furnace; it covered the floor and smelt to high Heaven.
