No, apparently this is not a spoof, the scion of the man who was responsible for the Cuban blockade is full of awe for the Cuban dictatorship. Sure, its a dictatorship, but other than that, its just ducky, apparently. Writing in the South American news agency MercoPress, Robert F. Kennedy avers, after admitting the dictatorship and lack of a free press:
Despite its poverty, Cuba has managed some impressive accomplishments. Cubas government boasts the highest literacy rates for its population of any nation in the hemisphere. Cuba claims its citizens enjoy universal access to health care and more doctors per capita than any other nation in the Americas. Cubas doctors, reportedly, have high quality medical training.

And let us not forget the Cuban system of rice maker distribution, dependent on availability of electricity, of course.

Yeah, you can always learn from someone that makes really stupid mistakes.
Just don’t repeat them yourself.

“Cubans today suffer under grater poverty today than they did under the Batista dictatorship. Yes, there is less inequality (although the ruling elite doesnt suffer), but there is also more poverty.”
That’s what happens when the industrious have to give half of what the earn to the lazy that don’t want to do anything. It’s called COMMUNISM.

If by "we" he means the DemocRAT Party, then he's right.
In fact, I'd say the 'RATs are practically Rhodes Scholars when it comes to learning from Castro how to rule with an iron fist.

For decades fellow traveler leftists have argued that socialist i.e. totalitarian commie countries doing business with the evil, capitalist, running-dog-swine Yankee imperialists was to be avoided. Now, of course, the failure of the U.S. to trade with Cuba is the reason the latter is poor. Do these commie clowns ever read their own literature?
