Thousands of NYPD cops turned their backs on Mayor de Blasio on Sunday outside a Brooklyn funeral home as he eulogized a murdered NYPD officer inside.
As de Blasio addressed the loved ones of Detective Wenjian Liu in the Aievoli Funeral Home in Bensonhurst, the sea of blue watching the funeral on huge TV screens outside showed their disgust for Hizzoner by turning around as he spoke.

When Bratton was running the Los Angeles Police Department he said that anybody who objects to illegal immigration should get out of California. That guy is a first class liberal a**$#le.
No, she was there. AOL News has it up on their coverage. She’s walking right beside him as they enter the funeral parlor.
Regards,
de Blasio——what is wrong with America in a nut shell.
This is shame political marriage just like Bill and Hillary who happens to also be attracted to women....
Well, you’d have to get rid of that Burger King! B^)
Cat’s out of the bag deblasio. The cops know you’re an America-hating scumbag.
Can’t speak as to percentages, but a friend’s kid became a full fledged cop this past summer, and he’s definitely seeing it as a form of service.
On second though, I’m guessing there have to be a lot of cops who’re in it to serve. If cops didn’t feel a responsibility to the citizens, there would have been a mass exodus of the Ferguson police force. Nobody stands there, day after day, getting spit on and screamed at and listening to threats to their spouse and kids, just for money and benefits.

No, that’s what makes the ad. Hundreds of cops turning their backs on the Burger King and turning to McDonalds.
Good on them!
Resign, de Blasio!

LOL, now I get it! Very good!
(Sheesh, am I slow or what?) B^)
Civilian LEOs are not uniformed DOD military members.
And I don't know anyone in the USA, aside from delusional elected and appointed Feds who would want them to be!
I don't pretend to know all the details regarding Mr. Garners death, but one of the purported salient facts that is severely under-reported is :
It was DeBlasio who ordered the NYPD to direct enhanced attention too “crackdown/arrests” of loose/untaxed cigarette sellers.
Yes, I know Mr. Garner has a long arrest record, and he shouldn't have “resisted arrest” by lifting his hands so high that that the cops couldn't cuff him easily, but why did they try to arrest him in the first place?
The cops knew him, and also knew where he lived.I understand there are reports he even had a lawyer working with him on a harassment case.
Write him a ticket and see him in court!
If he failed to show up to court, arrest him for that.
If the NYPD had been operating as uniformed DOD,in this case, all involved in the “arrest” would have been subjected to UCMJ punishment for obeying unlawful orders, as far as I can tell.
Oh yes!!
Comrade Mayor will not be happy when he sees the evening news!
Cannot disagree more. Watch some episodes of Drugs, Inc. They risk their lives for what they believe in. Do a ridealong with some local cops sometime. See what their jobs are like.
I wonder what de Blasio will do to the police officers now?
“I wonder what de Blasio will do to the police officers now?”

There’s not much he CAN do.
.
Elections have consequences. New York is now under the tyranny of a liberal fascist city government.
Watch DeBlasio diminish the freedoms of the citizenry at every turn.
And only the cops are calling him on it? SHAME.
Every New Yorker should be standing with the police demanding DeBlasio’s resignation.
I guess I saw the next day’s service....where he was videoed walking into the funeral service...... shoulder to shoulder w/ his security detail.
She was nowhere to be seen.
