Happy New Year to all Freepers and Lurkers. Have spent many happy hours here in the past year. Have read the posts of interesting and good people. Have battled with the best and got help from the best.

My newest grandbaby is due in a couple of weeks. I’m getting pretty good at this granddad thing, so I’m really looking forward to this year!! Happy 2015 to all!!!

In 2015, I wish that all people would learn to get along and that my neighbor Bob would fall off a cliff.
My plan for 2015 is to do everything that I planned to do in 2014, but didn’t get done. That leaves everything but “Put on my shoes”. I did get that done.

I am hoping 2015 will be a better year than 2014. Not that 2014 was a bad year for me, other than losing a job at the end of September that I had held for close to eight years.
On a more positive note, I did manage to check off an item on my bucket list this year. Hopefully next year I will find a job which gives me the means to check off a few more!
And I resolve to continue poking my leftist acquaintances in the eye whenever I have the opportunity. :)

There's lots of people out there who need someone like you as a friend, acquaintance, or neighbor. Take your wisdom and share it with younger folks... it will be a blessing. Comfort the lonely and neither of you will be alone anymore. Talk and joke with strangers and the world will be brighter. Small kindnesses make life a joy. Hearts are easily lifted.
Congratulations. The big C is something near and “dear” to me as well. While I haven’t had it myself, I’ve lost a few family members to the disease. Meanwhile, my dad will have survived it for thirteen years this coming February.
