Just Wondering...
INTEGRITY
He’s doing EXACTLY, what HE told the citizens of TEXAS he would DO.
Because he speaks common sense and stands for strong principles. He will not turn on a dime to satisfy some group.
Read any Jeb thread in the last week. I don’t have them bookmarked but there was another one yesterday saying flat out that Bush was fine and he would vote for him hands down.
Then there are the lesser evil idiots ALREADY paving the way for another cave in by the fraud wing. “We gotta get behing the GOP because 3rd parties mean Hillary”.
It’s open and often.
Exactly. Can’t have the bright light of truth shining into the dark, dank, hole of DC —congresscritters would have to scurry out, be exposed for the sneaky rodents they are.
Maybe it's that they don't have anything on him.
I think that some of the BushBot and Bushies fear hime because he will RIP their covers off and Expose the Bushes as to what they are, The GOP-e Flip Side to the New World Order Coin, the Obamas, Clintons and the Kennedy’s are the DemOcrate Side of the coin.
He is upsetting the apple cart—the Democrat-Republican Party has taken years to build—so they and their friends can get rich and still attend all the neat parties. He sees the truth—He is perhaps the last honest man—for that—he must be eliminated—Palinitized—assassinated—or made to be a racist fool.
No. He probably doesn't have anything on them, which is why they attack Cruz harder than Obama.
Truth is to liberals as light is to roaches................
No, I do not think that he has anything on any of them. The Republicrats/Demopubs do not like him. There is only one party in the USA these days.
They fear Ted Cruz because they fear LOSING. This applies to both the GOPe and the Dems.
Just think what happens if Ted Cruz runs and wins:
1. The GOPe DOPey THEORY that in Presidential Elections you have to pick a middle of the road candidate (Mitt, John, Bob, Jeb, Chris) to attract the Independent Voter will be dead forever. Or least for a long, long time.
2. The Gravy Train will run out of fuel. At least to some extent. Even Ted Cruz isn’t all powerful. But he will hurt THE SYSTEM for sure.
3. He would cut taxes.
4. The economy would boom.
All of these changes would hurt the political establishment. And it would hurt the GOPe the most. The Dems will always be able to come back at some point with their Marxist Giveaway Strategies.
Everyone already knows who they are and no one cares. Thats why they make excuses every 2 years and elect them, then come here and play ‘Staunch right wing conservative hyperpatriot” to impress eachother.
IMHO - Establishment democrats and republicans don’t want the Good-Old-Boy system changed - they just want to be first in line at the pig trough.
So they dislike anyone who wants to reform the way they do business.
There are a few who fit that description but together the democrats and republicans usually manage to see that reformers don’t ever get the power to actually do any reforming. They either drive them out, buy them out or blackmail them into cooperating.
But the establishment REALLY dislikes anyone (like Cruz) who wants to change the system and might have a chance of actually gaining enough public support to get elected and bust up the Good-Old-Boy system.
Truth to Power = Liberal Slogan
They fear him because:
1. Intelligence
2. Integrity
3. He has conservative values
4. He has the balls to defend his values
Now THAT'S the truth! I pray Cruz withstands the temptations.
The gOpE fears him because he threatens their cushy jobs and inert existence.
Please add Mike Lee to the discussion. They are taking him down too, and Jeff Sessions got the rug pulled out from underneath him because of his amnesty stances
The more they disparage Cruz, and the veritable handful of other honorable members of Congress, the more aggressively the rest of us should take up the gauntlet, to expose the lies, perfidy, cowardice & deceit by implication. We can break through the media blackout, if we persist; but it is going to take real persistence.
